The total B.Sc. intake is approximately 550 seats, while programmes like B.Sc. in Botany, Mathematics, and Zoology have 70 seats each.

Gurucharan College B.Com. Admission Process

College Infra

The college infrastructure is satisfactory and provides a comfortable environment for students. Classrooms are properly maintained and the campus is clean and organized. The library contains useful academic resources and study materials. Basic laboratory and WiFi facilities are available for students. The faculty members are cooperative and the overall atmosphere of the college is friendly and safe.

my experience was good teachers are also cordial and their teaching style is also good however college needs modern technology for teaching such as smart board and other digital technology which will help student to groom better

Yes my college have all infrastructure that required in an institution ,all infrastructure related to academic section are good such as chair table ,fan and other essential items and out door activities infrastructure are also good for student and class room laboratories are also good and living space is also maintained and hygiene

Campus Life

yes campus life was good teachers not teaching staff was also good the infrastructure was also good we have one jackfruit tree which was very popular and our campus life goes under this tree by sitting on this roots

Placements

The placement is good about 80% selected every year ,the placement cell is also doing their best to placed all student in FY all companies such as banking sector FMCG sector they recruit the student ,yes GC college have good placement record

Value For Money

ROI is good because it is Goverment Institution so admission is not so huge if we see yearly cost it is very cheap as compared to the private institution, it was good for us when we are a student now it has increased.

I pursued a B.Sc. in Computer Science because of my strong interest in technology and computing. The quality of teaching in the college was very good, and the teachers were friendly, supportive, and knowledgeable, which made learning more effective and enjoyable. I believe the curriculum should be updated regularly to make students more job-ready and aligned with current industry requirements. Recently, the introduction of summer internships has been a very good initiative, as it provides students with practical exposure and valuable industry experience.

College Infra

The college offers modern classrooms with digital boards, labs, library, sports facilities, and separate common rooms for students. These facilities support learning and campus life well. However, restroom cleanliness needs regular maintenance to ensure proper hygiene and a healthy environment.

Campus Life

The college campus is good and provides an engaging environment where students can easily connect and interact with each other. It is also a suitable place for students interested in politics, as political activities and involvement are quite active on campus. Many programs, cultural events, and functions are organized regularly, making campus life enjoyable and lively. The location of the college is good and convenient, but during the rainy season, the roads leading to the college often get submerged, making travel difficult, although the college campus itself remains safe from flooding.

Placements

The placement opportunities from the college are limited, and most students have to search for placements and internships on their own through off-campus opportunities. However, many students have successfully secured jobs in good companies through their own efforts and skills. The college is supportive to some extent, and the recent focus on internships is a positive step toward improving students’ career opportunities and industry exposure.

Value For Money

The total course fee was around ₹60,000 for three years. Compared to other courses, the fee was relatively higher, so at times it did not feel completely worth it. However, the college does provide good teaching, infrastructure, and learning opportunities, which makes it value for money to some extent.
