36 MonthsThe diploma in Mechanical Engineering is a three-year full-time course offered by the Directorate of Technical Education, Bangalore, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate must be a citizen of India and should have passed Karnataka S.S.L.C or Equivalent Examination by securing not less than 35% marks in aggregate as per A.I.C.T.E norms or as prescribed by A.I.C.T.E from time to time by Notification.
- For Lateral Entry into the Second year / III Semester of the three-year diploma program, the candidates shall have passed Karnataka SSLC or equivalent examination and Craftsman course of a minimum two years duration in ITI (Industrial Training Institute) in Karnataka, recognized by NCVT (National Council For Vocational Training & Central Apprenticeship Council).
