College has decent infrastructure and a very pleasant location. The classrooms are spacious and well ventilated, making lectures comfortable. The college building is well maintained, though not very modern. One of the biggest positives is the sea-facing area nearby, which gives a refreshing environment between lectures. The library is useful and has enough books for all subjects.
Academics are strong. Most teachers are experienced and explain concepts clearly. The syllabus is followed properly and helps in building a solid base in subjects. Classes are regular, and internal assessments help students stay consistent. Students who stay attentive and revise regularly can perform well academically.
Placements are decent. Many companies visit the campus for roles in finance, accounting, marketing, and management. The placement cell is active and provides guidance, training sessions, and interview preparation. The average package is reasonable around 5LPA, and a few students manage to secure higher offers like 14-15LPA based on performance and skills.
The fees is reasonable compared to many private colleges in Mumbai. Considering the quality of education, faculty, college reputation, and location, the course offers good value for money.
Campus life at College is one of its biggest strengths. The college is located near sea, which adds to the overall experience. There are many good eating places, cafes, and stalls nearby, making it easy for students to hang out after classes. Cultural events, fests, and student activities are organized regularly. The location is safe and well connected by public transport.
The infrastructure at HR College of Commerce and Economics is functional and adequate, though not overly modern. Classrooms are spacious and well-ventilated, but most of them follow a traditional setup with limited use of smart teaching tools. The library is a strong point, offering a good collection of commerce, finance, and economics books, along with a quiet space for self-study. Common areas and corridors can feel crowded during peak hours due to the large student intake. While facilities like the auditorium and seminar halls serve their purpose well for events and lectures, there is scope for upgrades in terms of technology and overall modernization.
The academics at HR College of Commerce and Economics are solid and well-focused on building a strong commerce foundation. The B.Com curriculum covers all the core areas — accounting, economics, business law, taxation, and finance — with a structured progression that helps you develop clarity over concepts rather than just memorizing for exams. Most faculty members are experienced and approachable; they encourage class discussions and real-world examples, which makes learning practical and engaging. Assessment includes a mix of internal tests, projects, and end-term exams, so you’re constantly learning and improving your skills. Teachers generally motivate students to pursue professional qualifications like CA, CS, or CFA alongside college, and there are lots of reference materials and support for that. Overall, the academic environment is competitive but rewarding, pushing you to stay disciplined while giving a strong base for future studies or careers in business, finance, and related fields.
Placements at HR College of Commerce and Economics are decent but not 100% guaranteed for every B.Com student — the college provides a lot of opportunities, but getting a job offer still depends a lot on your skills, preparation, and involvement in committees or internships. The placement cell actively works with companies and organizes internship drives early on to help build experience, and you’re encouraged to do at least one internship before final year.
From a student’s perspective, HR College of Commerce and Economics is good value for money if you make the most of what it offers. The tuition and fees are reasonable compared with many private commerce colleges in Mumbai, especially considering its central Churchgate location and the access it gives you to internships, corporate events, and networking opportunities. Academically, you get a strong B.Com foundation that’s respected by employers and useful if you pursue professional courses like CA, CS, CMA, CFA, or MBA later on. The active student culture and committee ecosystem also add indirect value by helping you build soft skills that pay off in placements and future careers.
Campus life at HR College of Commerce and Economics is lively, competitive, and full of opportunities to grow beyond academics. Even though it’s in a crowded area of Churchgate, the energy inside the college makes up for the hustle — you’ll always find something happening, whether it’s a committee meeting, a guest lecture, or a cultural event.
The competition can sometimes feel intense, and administrative work can be a bit slow. Infrastructure is decent but not exceptional. Still, HR College played an important role in shaping my academic base and overall personality, and I’d say it’s a great place for serious commerce students.
My college infrastructure is good and nice in our class room we have ac and in libary also have acs and we have canteen also in our college also we have many thing to do in our college also have good class
Academics in our college is good like it gets easily but we have to pass a paper gor some degrees like bms, baf and etc gor this we have to give one test and teachers are also good in our college and they helps us also

Nope
While the infrastructure is good, improvements can be made. The KC auditorium is used for nearly all events, but the college has AC in all rooms which are fully functional, as well as clean and sanitary washrooms
Our college has great academics, education. The professors are really good at what they do and have deep theoretical knowledge about each of their own subject. Overall, academics and education is well taken care of if you join HR college of commerce and economics.
The placement cell is a really wonderful cell in our college, they are very hardworking always bringing new internships, and experiences for us to have, it’s truly one of the best I can personally ensure u.
The infrastructure is spacious and airy. Although there are not much facilities for lifts so we have to climb around 5th floor. Although it has a little small area to move around and it is confusing soemtimes
The faculty is good , they teach good and everyone is very clever in the class. The teachers are well qualified and not oy academics but they are good at supporting students apart from academics too .
The placement cell of HR college is the best. I have to say , they are just very helpful and committed. They always bring in front of us amazing opportunities to grab and are very ethical. They make sure you get to experience the best of your internship times.
The fees is decent for the education that they provide. The facilities and amenities are great at a very reasonable amount of fees. They are very good at being affordable but quality college and that's what I love about them
Oh the events at HR are genuinely the best of all. They are ao good and many celebrities come there too. There are talented and very very creative people in the college that I've met. The campus Life is a banger.
College provided with some great infrastructure. It had recently renovated and had amazing classrooms and benches . It had wifi for smart learning as well as for students . It had new boards for each class
H R College of commerce and economics has various courses such as bcom , baf , bms and many more Currently i am perusing baf which provides information about finance and accounting ehich is a really good course for me
HR college of commerce and economics also provides with placements in various companies in different fields , especially for baf it has provided with some amazing placements with a really high package
In my opinion this is a very expensive course compared to others and if we compare to other colleges it would seem to be relatively cheap and would be benificial for others in my thinking it is a value for money course
College has a really small campus does not provide with a ground or anything only a terrace which is also relatively small nothing more for some activities most of the activities are held in some other college
