Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Biotechnology is a four-year full-time undergraduate Course offered by IMS Engineering College, Ghaziabad recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed the intermediate exam without any grace marks of U.P. Board or 10+2 level exam or its equivalent from any recognized Board with Physics and Mathematics or Biology as a compulsory subject; and any one of Chemistry/Bio-Technology/ Technical Vocational as an optional subject.

Admission Details

The admission shall be on the basis of JEE (Main).

College Infrastructure

Biotechnology department has well-furnished laboratories, modern instruments, spacious lecture halls, as well as a good library with relevant books. The institution boasts of its infrastructure that enhances laboratory practices, research work, and overall academic skills for higher studies.

Overall the college is good placement needs improvement

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is well maintained and has good learning environment which enhances easy learning among the students. The classrooms are large and well furnished with projectors and good seating arrangements. The library is well stocked and has modern books, magazines together with internet resources. The computer labs are well equipped and have internet connection, the school sports grounds are well maintained. The whole school is maintained to the highest standard including; sports grounds, common rooms and other essential services such as security, cleanliness and electricity among others. This makes it possible to carry out all types of activities both academic and extracurricular.

College Infrastructure

College infrastructure is pretty good overall. We have smart classes, library, computer labs and sports ground also. Wifi is available but sometimes it become slow specially when many students use it together. Hostel rooms are okay not very luxury but enough for students. Food in mess was decent, someday its tasty someday not ????. Everything is mostly clean and maintained properly so i never faced any major problem.
