The students studying BBA and BCA in IEM ashram building live under strict rules and regulations for the 3 years they are in IEM. But this discipline shapes their life towards success. They groom their students perfectly for the corporate life style. The faculty i.e the teachers here are very friendly and are always ready to help you each time you are having any problem. About the placements, IEM has a very good campusing. MNCs such as Cognizant, TCS, Wipro, Sap, etc. come for placements. If you want to pursue higher education in BBA or BCA in West Bengal, IEM by far is the college you are looking for. Yes, you might not be able to have great college life, like flunking classes and flexible class hours, or no attendance pressure but a secured future will be what you will have.

The college has been ranking high for its placements of the student. In today's world when education comes off expensive , placement is a vital thing. Job grantee ensures you that you won't starve or can pay off the loan. The faculty is more or less okay. College infrastructure was in developing stage during my times. Co-curriculum activities were not there so much but hopefully it has changed in times. Anyways , a college cannot be held responsible for what you finally earn or learn in life , but it does gives you a nice path to build upon. Personally , I have my own start-up and my management skills are somehow derived from the teachings in the college . If you cannot A-class institutions such as NIT , IIT etc. This private college makes sense than others , for the sole reason of its good industry placement and a push in career!!
