The college campus must be upgraded as because the amount of money we pay to study and the campus is not satisfactory. At least each room should have an air-conditioner.the college should be a little lean on the students because the pressure they provide is not accepted by many students. The college faculty is no doubt good. the teachers are helpful some of them. The placements were really good but what they did with me was unimaginable. I could have protested against it but didn't do anything. Some of the best professor being our maths teacher. he is undescribable. he showed us how to do maths in a smooth and sweet way. The student crowd was very good. all the pupils are of the same category.

The college premises includes just one building, which has a MacDonald's in the ground floor,and the front half of the building has been leased to various small IT firms. Thus the main college area isn't big enough. There is just one TT room for refreshment. However, from the very start, its clear that the faculty is concerned mainly with studies and chances of refreshment are low if you want to cope up with the pace in class. College canteen has recently been started but the food available in stalls outside college is much better. The faculty ranges from highly experienced personnel to newly post graduated professors. Each faculty gives his/her best to come up with a way of making the subject interesting. Coming to the best part- Placements! IEM bags the highest number of jobs provided to BCA students all over West Bengal. Big IT companies like SAP, Accenture, Cognizant etc visit the college for job opportunities and offer lucrative proposals which either have a high joining salary or include a pg course like MTech or MCA for free. So if Computer Science Engineering is not your cup of tea but you still have lots of interest in Computers, IEM is the best place to do your BCA from because the job opportunities are really good!

It's undoubtedly the best private college in Kolkata. The teaching faculty was very good, they groom the students with not just course curriculum but also with personality development sessions. This helps the students during the placements. They end up with good job offers from SAP Labs, Infosys, TCS, Wipro Technologies, CTS, Tech Mahindra, etc. Infrastructure is small compared to govt. institutes. Lab facilities are also good. Coming to recreational activities it is limited to indoor games only like table tennis and carrom.

Semester fees are very high, it is not affordable by normal people. Lack of sports ground, common room, seminar hall, and canteen. Classrooms are not well maintained. only a few professors are good, others are just for the crowd, nothing else. but the students are very good in nature and behaviour. There is no air condition machine in entire college except computer labs, faculty rooms, and principal room. The water purifier machines in the college premises are too old to use. Overall the management of this college is not so good.

3 years in college was awesome in one word. Strict and disciplined. Most of the faculties are good and cooperative. Placement is very good indeed, MNC comes every year. More than anything got a very good circle of friends. But infrastructure must be improved.
