JD Birla Institute Kolkata provides admission in various streams such as Commerce, Management and Sciences. JDBI admissions into BCom programmes are given based on the merit of the past academic records. JDBI Kolkata BSc admissions are given based on the personal interview process.

While the institute does not explicitly restrict applicants based on their academic stream (science, commerce,or arts) , bt many institutions offering b.sc. programs in nutrition nd dietetics typically prefer candidates from a science background, especially those who hv studied subjects like biology, chemistry, nd physics.
