JDBI Kolkata Fees 2027

Good curriculum in Bba but heavy maths and accounts which isn’t important fir the course but still have useful subjects like excel stock market and tally while most teachers are great there are some who don’t cooperate at all

Decent college infrastructure considering it’s air conditioned and easily accessible but not as great as other colleges in the city like Bhawanipur or amity compared to them a very poor infrastructure considering the fees they charge

Campus life is very very shit considering there is no space in campus to do anything the college is under construction half the time occupying more space and it’s the worst peopl need to go out to enjoy there college life

Internships are given at a good places only considering you can crack the interviews and placements are decent but i think could be better considering it’s name and affiliation to Jadavpur university

I don’t think it’s value to money when compared to college like Bhawanipur and Xaviers cause they Also offer ac with better infrastructure and opportunity for students in extracurricular and college supports for such events not worth at all paying 1 lakh

Academics at JD Birla Institute are quite strong, with experienced and supportive faculty members. The teaching approach focuses on both theoretical and practical knowledge, which helps in better understanding of concepts. The curriculum is fairly updated and aligned with industry requirements, especially for commerce and management-related courses. Regular assignments, presentations, and projects ensure continuous learning. However, at times, the teaching style can feel slightly traditional. Overall, the academic environment is good and helps in building a solid foundation.

The infrastructure at JD Birla Institute is good and well-maintained. Classrooms are equipped with necessary facilities, and the college provides access to computer labs, libraries, and other learning resources. The campus is clean and organized, creating a comfortable environment for students. However, the campus is not very large, and some facilities may feel limited compared to bigger colleges. Overall, infrastructure is sufficient and functional.

Campus life is good, with occasional events and a friendly atmosphere. Students can engage in activities, but more variety would enhance the experience.

Placements at JD Birla Institute are decent, with a fair number of companies visiting the campus each year. The placement cell is active and provides support through training sessions, mock interviews, and skill development programs. Many students secure good opportunities, especially in fields like commerce, management, and media. However, placement outcomes can vary depending on the course and individual performance. Overall, placement support is reliable but has room for improvement.

JD Birla Institute offers good value for money considering the quality of education, faculty support, and placement opportunities. The fees are reasonable compared to the exposure and learning provided. Students also benefit from extracurricular activities and industry-related programs. While there are a few limitations, the overall return on investment is quite satisfactory.

Academically, it’s average. The syllabus doesn’t always feel up-to-date, and while a few teachers are genuinely helpful and explain concepts well, others mainly stick to theory. There isn’t much focus on practical learning or real-world exposure, which can be a bit disappointing.

The college infrastructure is quite good and provides a comfortable environment for students. Classrooms are spacious, clean, and well-ventilated. The library has useful academic resources, and computer labs are properly maintained. Basic facilities like drinking water, washrooms, and seating areas are available. Overall, the campus is decent and supports both learning and student activities effectively.

Campus life is decent. There are some events and activities, but they’re not very frequent. Still, the crowd is friendly, and it’s easy to make friends and feel comfortable. The canteen food is okay and affordable, so that’s a plus.

Placements are one of the weaker areas. Opportunities are limited, and not everyone gets placed. The packages offered are also not very high, so many students look for options outside.Overall, it’s an average college. It’s fine if you just want a basic degree, but if you’re expecting strong academics or great placements, you might feel it falls a bit short.

The college offers average value for money. While the infrastructure and basic facilities are good, the academics and placement opportunities don’t fully justify the fees. It’s decent, but there’s definitely room for improvement.
