Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) Honours in Food Science and Nutrition Management is a three-year full-time undergraduate Course offered by J D Birla Institute, Kolkata and affiliated to Jadavpur University, Kolkata.

Eligibility Criteria

Only female candidates are eligible for admission to the B.Sc courses.
Candidates must have good knowledge of the English language.
A student seeking admission to three years B.Sc (Hons.) in Food Science & Nutrition Management / Textile Science, Clothing & Fashion Studies / Interior Designing / Human Development of the Institute must have passed the 10+2 examination of any recognized Board / Council recognized by Jadavpur University in four recognized subjects of which at least one is English and securing at least 50% marks in the aggregate.

Admission Details

Eligible candidates for B.Sc courses would be short-listed based on the criteria mentioned below.
All candidates will have to appear for an aptitude test and a personal interview, on the date specified only.
Short-listed candidates will have to pay the fees within 24 hours of the merit list is put up or else the seat will be given to the candidate next on the merit list. Admission will be confirmed only after verification of all necessary documents (with the originals) by the college within the stipulated time.

College Infrastructure

The college provides perfect surroundings for education. Our campus comprises of all necessary facilities and provide us unlimited wifi smart board acceptors. Playgrounds , libraries as well as the laboratories are well maintained in university. The most interesting fact that one comes across is that, there are Central and Departmental libraries , provide us service 24 7 (though due to present condition it is a bit hectic for us to approch library)
