Admission to Kalka Dental College is arranged on a merit basis, and there exists a standard set of procedures that apply to College admission for all its courses.

The UP Common Admission Test-Dental (UP CAT-Dental) is the entrance examination for admission to the BDS program. This entrance examination is conducted by the Association of Private Medical and Dental Colleges of Uttar Pradesh. The college is allotted 100 seats for the BDS course.

Admission to the postgraduate programs, Master of Dental Surgery (MDS), is through National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for MDS (NEET MDS). Available MDS seats in various specialties include Orthodontics, Periodontics, Conservative Dentistry, Paediatric & Preventive Dentistry, Prosthodontics, and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.

Application Process

Distinctly, the method of applying for BDS and MDS programs at Kalka Dental College has its differences:

BDS

• Pass the UP CAT-Dental examination.

• Register for the UP CAT-Dental counseling process when called.

Admission to the 4 years BDS program at Kalka Dental College is based on the UP CAT-Dental scores. 100 seats are available to this course. An applicant here should have passed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and needs to qualify the UP CAT-Dental examination for admission.

MDS
MDS programs at Kalka Dental College are in 3 years for six specializations and admissions are by means of NEET MDS scores. Seats for the MDS programs are allotted as follows:

• MDS Orthodontics – 5 seats

• MDS Periodontics – 5 seats

• MDS Conservative Dentistry – 5 seats

Eligibility for MDS admissions requires candidates to have completed their BDS from a recognized Institution and to have attempted the NEET MDS examination.
