Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electronics and Communications Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by Anna University, Chennai.

Eligibility Criteria

Should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination of (10 +2) Curriculum (Academic Stream) prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as three of the four subjects of study under Part-III or any examination of any other University or authority accepted by the Syndicate of Anna University of Technology Chennai as equivalent thereto.

Should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination of Vocational Stream (Vocational groups in Engineering / Technology) as prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu.

Lateral entry admission

(i) The candidates who possess the Diploma in Engineering / Technology awarded by the State Board of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu, or its equivalent are eligible to apply for admission to the third semester of B.E. / B.Tech. in the branch corresponding to the branch of study.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of Karpaga Vinayaga College of Engineering and Technology is good and supports students’ academic and residential needs effectively. The campus is spacious, clean, and surrounded by a peaceful environment, which is ideal for learning. Classrooms are adequately sized and equipped with basic teaching facilities, including smart boards in some departments. The laboratories are well maintained and have sufficient equipment to conduct practical sessions smoothly, helping students gain hands-on experience. The college has a central library with a wide collection of textbooks, reference books, journals, and digital resources. It provides a calm atmosphere for studying and research. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, allowing students to access online learning materials easily. Hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls. Rooms are decent, with essential amenities such as water supply, electricity, and study space, though maintenance can be improved in certain areas. The mess food quality is average and manageable. Sports facilities include outdoor grounds for games like cricket and football, along with indoor games and a gymnasium. Transportation facilities are also available, making daily travel convenient. Overall, the college infrastructure is satisfactory and meets the basic requirements of engineering students, though regular upgrades and maintenance would further enhance the campus experience.

Infrastructure of the clg looks nice . Well educated staff . There is more useful things to develop our skills . So many clubs r there ,to develop our extra curricular activities . They give more importance to sports and extra curricular activities . The way of teaching are extradinary . Laboratory facilities r also good . Thia clg is most famous for culturals .
