The Training and Placement Cell at Karpaga Vinayaga College of Engineering and Technology works to prepare students for careers in engineering, IT, analytics, consulting, research, and related fields. The cell conducts soft skills workshops, mock interviews, group discussions, industry talks, and other activities to enhance students’ employability and communication skills before placement drives begin. It also assists with resume building, career planning, and interview preparation In the most recent placement cycle (Class of 2023), around 50 companies participated in the recruitment process, and approximately 263 students were placed. The highest salary package offered was around ₹10 LPA, while the average package stood close to ₹2.5 LPA. Recruiters included industry names such as Capgemini, Sutherland, HTC Global, Reliance, Accenture, BNY Mellon, Foxon, and CTS, among others. While the highest packages are competitive for a college of this tier, the average package remains modest, reflecting a placement environment where most opportunities are in entry-level roles or smaller firms. The placements are very good in our college.Once we have skills and good CGPA definitely we can be placed. The students are placed upto 96% for sure.Many companies comes for placement for different departments.
