College has a very good infrastructure,each and every department is surrounded by beautiful gardens with a green environment which makes a good lifestyle for a student.classrooms,labs and play grounds everything is available in this college.Very well experienced faculty team they will provide highly advanced technology classes .Placements are too good in this college.Each and every departmemts has placements here which is really good.Thisto get better placements. Many companies like Amazon, Samsung, Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra and a lot of companies have been visiting every year.

Not a good college but considering the fact that you dint get into any good college it is ok if you want to go into CSE field because other companies usually dont come the fee and infrastructure is decent and the rest is same as any other UPTU college.

I have tried many colleges first and by checking review and the college graph i found that this college is best for me and take admission in this college. My decision was correct , the college is really good. faculty is very helpful and have experienced of many years of teaching and huge amount of students are there in our college from different states. There were lab fully equipped. the college life is also good, no ragging , no fight. there were also more courses having good result in placement and in result wise also. the college infrastructure is unique and its very good in looking from inside. there were 2-3 library in each Zone. the ground is huge for sitting with friends in free time and for completing notes . the overall life is i must say awesome which i found on this college.

I am an Alum of KIET B. Tech IT (07–11) batch. I am going to answer this question on below points: Campus:When I step in campus first time, I saw front building and it seems like “okey, This is KIET and I have to spend next 4 year here.” At that time it was very disappointing to land up in KIET as I did a terrible mistake in my AIEEE counseling and VIT last date for fee submission was over so KIET was last option at that time for me. I was thinking that KIET must be a big campus as I had heard that KIET is one of the best college in NCR. But when I reached at my hostel gate and I found that Campus was very small and full of buildings only (Not much open space). Though KIET doesn’t has big campus in terms of area(due to its own limitations) But it has every thing there what you can expect from a good college.( but our expectations don’t have limits and that is different scenario).So for campus I am giving 3 points out of 5. Sport Facilities :Sport facilities wise I will give KIET 4.5/5 as it has all basic facilities. Pool, TT, Cricket, Football, volleyball, basketball, Lawn tennis all are there. I learned to play Pool, TT, lawn Tennis in KIET first time. Academics/Faculties/Administrations:According to me it 3.5/5 . Though all academic related facilities were there but still KIET was lagging behind from other top engineering colleges ( as per my discussion with my friends in other top colleges). Some faculties was really awesome at that time. Admin department was quit helpful and ready to support. Director sir is really a great personality in campus and he always try to motivate students. Hostel life :Now its time for 5/5 because hostel life of KIET was really awesome. When I am thinking about KIET and recollecting memories of KIET, I can say most of the time it’s hostel life which brings smile on my face. Friends, Counter strike, Masti, group Study and lot of things ( If you were/are there you know all these). Helpful seniors, CAT/GATE preparations, Exam nights, Placement times were some valuable things as a part of that life. Placement:You can get the all placement related records and data from it’s official website KIET Group of Institutions . But in nutshell I can say from placement perspective KIET is in top bucket among other UPTU colleges. So for placement it stand on 4.5/5 . Overall I can say that KIET is one of the best college in that region and some of the best thing it provided me are knowledge, friends, placement and tons of good memories. Its true that “No matter how much we criticize our college... In the end, We will miss it ” . Those golden 4 years were awesome and no KIETian ever will be able to erase those memories from their mind. Now summerising it as a whole, The Good: KIET is a leader in academics in its university. It always features in the university toppers’ list, each year; which means, you are in the company of students. who are serious about what they do. At my time, I had everything in my batch - from university toppers to utter geeks. Sufficient amount of inspiration. The institute offers a few things that are seldom found elsewhere. Sadly, they are often undervalued. The students are issued textbooks by the best authors at the start of each semester. I know there is a fee for the same, but the fee is minimal, considering the value addition it brings to the study; not to mention, also saves the students the effort of procuring the books themselves. The Bad: The quality of class-tutoring at KIET is okay, but the teachers often fail to encourage students, to learn a subject for its own sake. Only a handful of students are found competing, the rest just go complacent. Even after being in the top colleges of its university, and attracting fine students from all over the state, the college doesn’t have an impressive placement record. If you are not from CS/IT, chances are that the college will fail miserably to give you the placement opportunity you deserve. The Ugly: The worst thing about colleges like KIET is that being bound by the university curriculum, they often end up striving for the not-so-important things. It may very well be possible that you are a superstar when it comes to university exams, but struggle outside the college environment. KIET (and all other competing colleges) will never teach you to learn a new thing on your own overnight, it won’t enforce strong deadlines on hard projects that might simulate the real-world work pressure, it won’t care to build your confidence, it won’t inspire you to excel at what you do. The summary is, KIET is a decent enough place to be. But you have to strive to step out of the mediocrity that it creates within you, you have to take that extra mile yourself to stand out. Cheers!
