Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Design Engineering is a two-year full-time postgraduate program recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi.


Eligibility Criteria

Passed a Bachelor’s Degree (BE (Mech., Auto., IP)) or equivalent in the relevant field. Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the qualifying Examination.

Admission Details

  • Admission to all the above PG programs is done through the entrance exam conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority, Bengaluru.
  • Candidates seeking admission from the University (management) quota need to have either a PGCET rank for admissions, and students need to contact the University Administrative Officer.
