The infrastructure of the college is quite well maintained. There are enough classrooms and all the classes are spacious to accomodate the strength of students. The library and labs have Wi-Fi. There is AC in the classrooms that are on the top floor and get too hot during Summers. Cleanliness is maintained.
I am persuing Bcom (Hons). The teachers have good knowledge of their subject and teach in a way which is easily understood by all. The syllabus is regularly updated according to the needs. Exams are regularly conducted and assignments, etc are given for overall development.
The quality of placements has been pretty decent. Almost all the students who sit in placements get a job but ofcourse the package differs. The average salary package is not much but there are obviously some students who get excellent packages.
My course costs Rs.1 lakh per year. I am getting money's worth till some point but it can be way better.
The campus life is great. There is greenery all around and big grounds for any sort of extra curricular activities. There are many societies in the college like theatre society, dance society, NSS and many more where we get to learn so many more things apart from studies. The college is located in a very clean and safe area and emergencies are handles.
I am currently in my second year of college and till now my experience has been very nice. The societies make college life even better.
Yes, college have all the infrastructure. It has AC classroom, gym, hostel, canteen. It has a clean space with good food. There are limited number of rooms in hostels generally all courses students have a combine hostel. Girls and boys have a separate hostel. Facilities are upto the mark. Maharaja surajmal Institute has a small lush green campus.
I am doing BBA. MSI has a number of excellent professors. It's curriculum is little bit outdated. But teachers are really nice and very helpful for students. Attendance matters a little bit in Maharaja Surajmal Institute. They more focus on quality education. So if you live in Delhi then definitely go for it.
Almost 95% placed in 2020.Highest placement of 2020 is 10 lacs. Average package was around 4.5 lacs per annum. Placement are good enough because they concentrate on the overall development of the students.
Infrastructure of the college is normal as it should be. Labs and equipment are up to the mark. It also has wifi facility but it's only for library and labs. It has hostels for boys and girls separately.
Faculty here is quite good. They are quite supportive. Students are assigned their mentor is case they need any kind of help academic or career related. They put their best afford in teaching their students even in this covid pandemic.
It provides great opportunity for the campus placement for freshers. Some of the best IT companies for the campus recruitment. Freshers here get a chance to get a high paying job at the start of their career.
Fee is quite high
Not too good. Has a very small canteen with no sitting facility. No open ground to sit or hangout.
It was great fun, a big lush green campus with variety of courses which help us to make new friends and gain ample of knowledge. Teachers are also very supportive and helps a lot whenever needed, even in pandemic situation as well.
I'm studying commerce because of my interest in the particular subject. The quality of teaching is amazing. About the curriculum, yes it is updated but some improvements can be made in software teachings.
The quality of placement is quite good but some improvements can be made for those students who are looking for job after graduation as majority of students go for post graduation. The highest package offered was around 6 lacs and it goes to BBA.
The cost per year is around Rs.80,000 and as according to the infrastructure facilty and all, the fee is quite decent. If we compare it to central government universities then the fee is quite high otherwise it's value for money.
The campus life is really very happening, annual college fest and university fest makes it more lovable.
The exterior of the college seems great, the classes can be improved. There's elevators so no problem with is air conditioning only in MSIT building and a floor of MSI. Cleanliness and hygiene standards can be improved too. that. There
As a student of second year, BBA, what I have noticed is that the faculty is utterly experienced and skilled. They handle things greatly. Teachers are supportive, understanding and helpful in everything.
Though, I am a student of second year, BBA gen, I researched and talked to seniors before getting into the college. MSI is one of the best colleges for job placements. Companies like Infosys and HCL visit for campus placements.
Can be improved
Presence of various societies gives us the opportunity to experience real world issues and solutions to them.
Infrastructure is good, all living spaces are clean and the food is also hygienic. Almost every class room has smart boards, and they are well maintained, classroom are also clean and good, hostels are also good.

Campus life is quite amazing here . Staff and teachers are quite supportive to the students . Students engage in different activities held in college . Location wise it is in west delhi one of the prime location of Delhi.

The college's infrastructure is average as though the campus is spread over a large area, nearly 8 acres with two separate buildings for B.Tech and BBA(and other management courses), but cleanliness is an issue. The college has old buildings; the canteen does not have enough variety though the food is affordable. The sports facilities are available but the ground is not well-maintained. The boys' hostel has all the basic amenities;classrooms do not have smart boards functional. No WiFi facility.
The academic somewhere lies between average to good depending upon the course chosen by a student. I am pursuing B.Com(H) due to my interest in management and finance. The teachers are experienced, and hence I am happy with the faculty unlike my B.Tech friends who are not pleased with their teachers. Personally, B.Com is not a type of course making a student job-ready and individual efforts are required to excel in the field, hence the course is not updated till date.
The placements are something which the college takes very pride in. There is around 90% placements in the B.Tech courses and other science courses. The average package is fairly okay with lying somewhere between 4-6 lacs p/a. Amazon is a mass recruiter in the college and offers the highest package with Google following Amazon. The placements in B.Com is also sound with good packages. The placement cell is active in making good firms visit the college, hence making the college supportive.
Being affiliated to IP university, the annual tuition fee lies between that of any private college and a government college. For my course, it was around 70,000 which was not affordable whatsoever, considering the services offered by the college. But the placements in the end might cover up to a certain limit.
There is no campus life as such in the college as the canteen is very small with no spacious lawns to chill as we have seen in movies and other DU colleges in Delhi. The societies are active in the college like the dance, music and dramatics society but they are not as remarkable as the societies of other colleges. Nonetheless, they help students to engage themselves in something non-academic and hone their skills. There is a medical room which does not have apparatus but may handle emergencies.
There is a annual cultural fest to look out for named "Anugoonj" which is widely celebrated by the colleges in the IP university. The tech-fest of the college AVNESIS is certainly one of the best events I have seen, with people participating from all parts of the city. The college is recommended for academics and jobs, as that is what really matters to everyone in the end.
Hello Aspirant,
I would suggest you to contact the college official as they can help you better about it as there is no such kind of information available officially.
Good Luck!
