MGIT is really good in terms of infrastructure and transportation, you'll enjoy the years of your graduation there. Vardhman offers the same too, but is more strict and disciplinary actions are taken against defaulters.
If we talk about the placement pattern of both the colleges, Vardhman has a better placement record in the previous years.
All the best!
Hi there you rank is unlikely less to get admission in cbit. As per previous year cutoff closing rank for CS was 25000 whereas for IT 50k and for mechanical 40k. Yes you can apply for other colleges it will more good if you apply through therir state exam i.e eamcet.

Hello Arunsai Jaligama
You need to visit MGIT and request to withdraw your seat, once accepted your refund will be initiated. If failed to do so before given date, you need to deposit full fee of the course.
No you whole amount will not be returned and the money will be deduct automatically with the number of counseling round you appreared for and if you finally take a college the rest amount will get adjusted in your college fee or if you withdraw from the counseling you'll get back the left over amount.
Hope it helps
Hello Goutham Peddi
Mechatronics is a good branch and MGIT offers a quality program with good infrastructure and faculty. But, before taking Mechatronics please consider that it is a mixture of 60% Mechanical and 40% Electronics. There is no separate paper for Mechatronics in GATE. Typically, Mechatronics students either write the Mechanical or Electronics paper
Hello Sai,
Yes, It is very good College. You must also be aware with that fact that your career not only depend upon your college but also on your personal interest. If you study hard in 4 years then you can pave path for better career even without premier college tag. So study hard there. It is good College and there are lots of scope in Mechanical engineering in PSUs as well as private sector.
Good Luck
yes there are scope to join metallurgy course as you need to do hard work for this. and have to score good enough so that you can get good placement after graduation. all the best have agreat future ahead.
The campus is quite big and full of trees. You can also find peacocks and parrots here. You will also have a basketball court, 3 volleyball courts, and one cricket ground. When it comes to the library, you will have access to plenty of books, and there is also a digital library where you will find a few systems to do your work.
The college was built in 1998, so most buildings are old. The classroom infrastructure is good. In my department, most labs are core labs, like electronics labs. For the CSE department, the best facilities in computer labs with AC, Wi-Fi, and all. MGIT and CBIT students share a combined hostel. I don’t stay in the hostel, but one of my friends who does says the hostel facilities are good.
MGIT provides good infrastructure with a great faculty providing well-equipped labs. There are decent classrooms for students. Students are provided with a hostel facility but only for boys. We have a decent canteen with a mess. Some hostels offer nutritious and hygienic food, while others may have food quality issues.
