The campus is quite big and full of trees. You can also find peacocks and parrots here. You will also have a basketball court, 3 volleyball courts, and one cricket ground. When it comes to the library, you will have access to plenty of books, and there is also a digital library where you will find a few systems to do your work.
The faculty is good, and you can also see technicians in labs who will help in labs. Curriculum. you people already know that overall our curriculum needs to be updated. Semester exams are not that difficult; of course, there will be a few difficult subjects, but overall exams are easy to pass
Well, I am currently a 2nd-year student from the Mechanical Engineering branch in MGIT. The placements here for this particular branch are decent. I mean, if you are a hardworking student, you will definitely get a placement. Usually, companies like Mahindra, JSW Steel, Toshiba, and Hyundai come for placements. There are also many other companies, but these are a few top companies. The staff here are also good.
The college was built in 1998, so most buildings are old. The classroom infrastructure is good. In my department, most labs are core labs, like electronics labs. For the CSE department, the best facilities in computer labs with AC, Wi-Fi, and all. MGIT and CBIT students share a combined hostel. I don’t stay in the hostel, but one of my friends who does says the hostel facilities are good.
All teachers are professional and highly educated. They are very helpful and friendly. Coming to the course, it depends on your interest if you like electronics, chip designing, VLSI, etc. The semester exams in the college are a bit difficult, so you need to study regularly, not just before the exam day.
In our batch (2021–25), around 60% of students get placed. Big IT sector companies like TCS, Infosys, Google, Microsoft, and Azure visit the college for recruitment. Still, there are 2 months left for other students to get recruited. Our ECE department, companies like BEL, BDL, and some other core companies also come for campus recruitment.
MGIT provides good infrastructure with a great faculty providing well-equipped labs. There are decent classrooms for students. Students are provided with a hostel facility but only for boys. We have a decent canteen with a mess. Some hostels offer nutritious and hygienic food, while others may have food quality issues.
Teachers' helpfulness and quality: Teachers are qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful. Teaching quality is interactive and practical. Curriculum relevance: The curriculum is relevant and prepares students for the industry. Exams are moderately challenging, with a focus on both theoretical knowledge and practical application
The average package offered to students is around 6 LPA. The highest package offered is 15 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Top recruiters include companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Cognizant, MEIL, L&T, and Teach Mahindra. Top roles for civil engineering include site engineer, structural engineer, construction project manager, design engineer, site engineer, structural engineer, construction project manager, and design engineer.

The facilities available on campus include good infrastructure, a large lawn, a library, free Wi-Fi throughout the campus, project labs, an auditorium, seminar halls, and air-conditioned labs. There are three hostel blocks for both boys and girls, offering air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned options.
Teachers were really helpful to the students throughout the academic year. The faculty is usually well-qualified, with many having advanced degrees, master's, and Ph.D. The course curriculum is giving great results in preparing students for the industry, ready to go. The semester exams are the easiest to pass
Placements for our seniors were very successful. Highly reputed companies visited our college and offered reasonable packages to our seniors. The highest salary package offered was 17 LPA, while the lowest package was 5 Lacs per annum, and the average package was around 7 Lacs per annum. Almost everyone from our course, about 95%, completed their internships, with top roles involving team leadership and management.
In this college, for every branch, there are different labs, and no other branch uses computers of another branch. We have college-provided Wi-Fi, and classrooms contain approximately 65 to 70 students. In every class, we have projectors, which the faculty use to explain the topic clearly. There is also a hostel provided by the college, It is 2 km away from the college. Students come to the college in the morning and walk back in the evening, and the college provides a bus at lunchtime.
The faculty in this college are well-qualified, with having decent degrees like Ph. D.s and M.Teach. The teaching is very understandable, and there are projectors, which make the teaching becomes more interesting. The college has a very good curriculum, which is good enough for gaining good knowledge in their respective branch. The semester exams are a bit easier if the student at least listens to the class
In this college, there are many placement opportunities, and many reputed companies like Cognizant, Zoho, etc., come to this college and hire some of students. The average placement percentage is about 78% every year. The highest package offered is 11 LPA, and the lowest package is 4 LPA. For every branch and to their respective branch, companies related to that branch come to hire students.
Labs have decent performing computers and there won't be any Wi-Fi around the college. Classrooms and library are good. The meals in the hostel are of top quality in my time. The college has a small canteen where the students hang out with friends. Sports competitions are only held before the annual day.
I feel the curriculum is good but the quality of teachers doesn't match. The teaching methods don't make the students industry-ready. They majorly focus on just academics. Semester exams are of moderate level which also includes 1-3 labs in every semester exams.
Atmost 35% of students are placed. The average package ranges between 4 LPA - 4.5 LPA. The highest salary is 10.5 LPA, and the lowest salary is 1.2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Providence, Deloitte, and Cognizant. Students get full-time placements only after completing the internships provided by the companies in which they are selected. Top roles offered are software engineer and programming analyst.
this college is having a good infrastructure with having laboratories, library and every college is equipped with the projectors. the college is having two grounds one is for indoor games like volleyball throughball etc and another ground is for cricket football etc.
i am studying in 4th year in branch of information technology. the faculty here in this college are well qualified and well experienced and they hold atleast m.tech degrees or most of them have ph d degree. the curriculum is very good and it will help the student to get full knowledge about the course in which they are held in.
the college also provides on campus placements which helps the student to get the their first at job in college itself and the average placement percentage of this college is 79% and there is placement cell which helps the student get ready to get placed in companies and some of the companies are cognizant, siemens, crowe, etc
the college fee is 160000 and i tell it is worth it because the college provides al facilities for the students and the students also can be free. the college have different extra cultural activities which help the students to participate in it and make them more active.
the college is having different clubs like singing club dancing club sports club and many clubs which helps the student to find there interest and a write decision after the graduation. and all faculty members are also very interactive with the students and they make the interaction interesting with there knowledge
this is very good for those students who are trying to make there like better with the hard work they do and it gives many opportunities for the students to get there like in a right way
The facilities and infrastructure available for my course are very good. Classrooms and labs are also very good. The quality of maintaining rooms in the hostel is average, and the food available in the mess is above average. Medical facilities are good, and sports and games are good.
The teachers are very helpful in understanding the topics. The course curriculum is very relevant for students, and the latest technology is used to help students understand the topics. Industry experts are used to explain the topics. The semester exams are a little hard to pass.
40 percent of students are placed in my course, with an average package of 3 Lacs per annum. The top recruiting company in my course is Satva Construction. The percentage of students who got internships is about 30 percent, and most students got structural engineer roles in my course.
The infrastructure of our college is pretty good. We have 30 acres of land and a total of 5 blocks for various engineering departments. The facilities too are good. We have a canteen and a food truck in the college that provide healthy food to the students.
The faculty of my course is supportive, and they never say no to anything the students wish for. They are well-experienced and qualified. The quality of teaching is pretty good. The course curriculum is pretty good and relevant to what we need in the real world.
The percentage of students placed in my course stands at 20% - 30% as of now. We are only halfway through the academic year, and that number will increase in due course. The top recruiting companies till now are Data BEAT, Cognizant, etc. Frankly speaking, not many students got an internship in my course. But that can be accredited as the students' fault, as the placement is working day in and day out to get the companies, and they are getting the companies, so much so that we are having one placement drive every week.
Hey! Thanks for sharing your scores. So, with 91.5 percentile in JEE Mains, 18,000 rank in AP EAPCET, and 96% in IPE, you’ve got a solid academic profile overall.
Now coming to MGIT (Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology) and admission under the B-Category (Management/NRI quota) — yes, you do have a good chance of getting CSE or even CSE specializations like AI, Data Science, or Cyber Security through this route.
B-Category admissions in MGIT are not strictly based on ranks, though they do consider JEE Main percentiles or EAPCET ranks as part of the evaluation. Since you’ve scored quite decently in both, you meet the general eligibility for this quota. Plus, your strong IPE percentage might help if they consider academic merit too.
Just make sure to apply on time when MGIT opens the B-Category notification, usually sometime after the regular EAPCET counselling. Seats are limited and go fast, especially for CSE branches, so keep checking the official site and be ready with documents.
All the best!
Hello,
As per my decision, I favour VNR
