Manipal College of Nursing, Manipal University, Manipal has a training and placement cell that handles all the matters related to the placement. Every year, the students of Manipal College of Nursing are placed in various private and public organisations. The B.Sc Nursing and PB B.Sc Nursing graduates are offered jobs in affiliated teaching hospitals of MAHE based on their merit (academic and non-academic records), subject to vacancies in the hospitals. Manipal College of Nursing graduates are placed in various other hospitals within the country and abroad. Every year various companies from the public and private sectors participate in the Manipal College of Nursing placement drive. The students of MCON are placed in reputed organisations with handsome packages. Students are trained and assisted in improving their employability skills at the institute. The institute also hosts seminars, workshops, and other events to help students gain confidence. 

Graduates of the B.Sc Nursing programme can work as staff nurses in hospitals or pursue higher education such as MSc Nursing, Nurse Practitioners, Masters in Public Health, M.B.A in Healthcare Management etc. They can be clinical nurses, nurse educators and nurse administrators.
