Manipal College of Nursing, Manipal University, Manipal has a training and placement cell that handles all the matters related to the placement. Every year, the students of Manipal College of Nursing are placed in various private and public organisations. The B.Sc Nursing and PB B.Sc Nursing graduates are offered jobs in affiliated teaching hospitals of MAHE based on their merit (academic and non-academic records), subject to vacancies in the hospitals. Manipal College of Nursing graduates are placed in various other hospitals within the country and abroad. Every year various companies from the public and private sectors participate in the Manipal College of Nursing placement drive. The students of MCON are placed in reputed organisations with handsome packages. Students are trained and assisted in improving their employability skills at the institute. The institute also hosts seminars, workshops, and other events to help students gain confidence.
Graduates of the B.Sc Nursing programme can work as staff nurses in hospitals or pursue higher education such as MSc Nursing, Nurse Practitioners, Masters in Public Health, M.B.A in Healthcare Management etc. They can be clinical nurses, nurse educators and nurse administrators. Over 85% of MCON graduates are placed aboard. Fortis Hospital New Delhi, Medicity Hospital New Delhi, Tata Medical Centre, Kolkata, and Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Mumbai are among the top hospitals that visit the college every year for Manipal College of Nursing placements. Students can participate in student exchange and externship programmes at the partner institutions of Manipal College of Nursing. Students from other institutions from abroad can also participate in an externship internship programme at the institute.

For pursuing BSc in Nursing at Manipal college of nursing, there is a separate entrance examination held.
The test duration is of 120 minutes. Total questions will be 100
Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs): Biology (20), Physics (20), Chemistry (20), English (20), and Aptitude (20)
Max Marks: 400
Marking Scheme - MCQ: +4 for every correct answer, -1 for every wrong answer, and 0 for an un attempted question

Hello,
Bachelors of Science in Nursing admission is offered in BSc Nursing and Post Basic BSc Nursing in Manipal university.
For BSc Nursing:
- Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from recognized board, with minimum 45 % aggregate marks or equivalent in PCBE.
For Post basic BSc Nursing
- Pass in GNM after 10+2 or equivalent examination, preferably with Science subjects.
- Candidate should be a registered Nurse and registered Midwife or equivalent, with any State Nursing Registration Council.
Applicants applying for the B.Sc Nursing in Manipal University will not have any entrance examinations but the contenders will be acknowledged on the basis of merit list and scored secured in the qualifying examination.
So there is no CET in Manipal university.

No only female candidates can apply for BSc nursing as the eligibility criteria for BSc nursing is only female candidates who are unmarried/ divorcee/ legally separated/ widow without encumbrances will be eligible to apply. Please click the below link to know more
