The post basic diploma programmes offered by the institute are Post Basic Diploma in Cardio Thoracic Nursing, Post Basic Diploma in Critical Care Nursing, Post Basic Diploma in Neonatal Nursing and Post Basic Diploma in Neuro Science Nursing. The course duration of the diploma programme is 1 year. Manipal College of Nursing, Manipal University, Manipal offers two undergraduate programmes. The UG courses offered by the institute are B.Sc Nursing and Post Basic B.Sc Nursing. The course duration of B.Sc Nursing is 4 years and Post Basic B.Sc Nursing is 2 years. The seat intake of B.Sc Nursing is 100 and Post Basic B.Sc Nursing is 50. The test duration is of 120 minutes. Total questions will be 100

Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs): Biology (20), Physics (20), Chemistry (20), English (20), and Aptitude (20)

Max Marks: 400

Marking Scheme - MCQ: +4 for every correct answer, -1 for every wrong answer, and 0 for an un attempted question

Hello,

Bachelors of Science in Nursing admission is offered in BSc Nursing and Post Basic BSc Nursing in Manipal university.

For BSc Nursing:

  • Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from recognized board, with minimum 45 % aggregate marks or equivalent in PCBE.

For Post basic BSc Nursing

  • Pass in GNM after 10+2 or equivalent examination, preferably with Science subjects.
  • Candidate should be a registered Nurse and registered Midwife or equivalent, with any State Nursing Registration Council.

Applicants applying for the B.Sc Nursing in Manipal University will not have any entrance examinations but the contenders will be acknowledged on the basis of merit list and scored secured in the qualifying examination.

So there is no CET in Manipal university.
