The Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental principles, technologies, and applications of robotics and AI systems. This interdisciplinary program combines knowledge from mechanical engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, and cognitive science, preparing students to tackle complex problems in automation, robotics, and intelligent systems. Throughout the course, students will explore topics such as robot kinematics, dynamics, control systems, machine learning, computer vision, natural language processing, and AI algorithms. The curriculum is designed to give students both theoretical knowledge and practical experience, equipping them to design, build, and program robots, as well as develop AI systems capable of autonomous decision-making.
Focus
The course also focuses on Robotics fundamentals, artificial Intelligence, control systems, Computer vision and human computer Interaction Computer vision and human computer Interaction and provide hands-on learning, with opportunities for students to work on real-world projects and engage in robotics competitions. Students will use advanced simulation tools, robotic platforms, and AI development environments to gain practical experience in programming, testing, and deploying intelligent robotic systems.
Eligibility Criteria
Indian Boards
You must have successfully completed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board with Physics, Mathematics, along with Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or any Technical Vocational subject with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks and English as a compulsory subject.
A Levels
You must have successfully completed A Levels with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, or any Technical Vocational subject with a minimum Grade D average at the A Level, English at the AS Level, or have a minimum of five passes in IGCSE, GCSE, or GCE O Level examinations, including English.
International Baccalaureate (IB)
You must have successfully completed the IB Diploma or IB Certificate with English, Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, or any Technical Vocational subject (preferably Mathematics and Physics at Higher Level). You must also have:
- A minimum of 3 points in each subject.
- 3 Higher Level (HL) and 3 Standard Level (SL) subjects.
- At least 2 science subjects at HL.
- An average of at least 4 points in Physics, Mathematics, and one optional subject.
- An overall minimum of 24 points.
- You must appear for MET 2027 and secure the required cutoff.
- Technical Vocational subjects must be related to Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical streams. Technical Vocational subjects must be related to Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical streams.

If you are applying through JEE Main CRL Rank, you must have:
- If you are in an Indian Board, a minimum aggregate of 75% marks in Physics, Mathematics, and one optional subject.
- If you are an A level student then you must have an average Grade A.
- If you are an IB student then you must have average 6 points.
- A minimum 90 percentile in JEE Main 2027.
Foreign/ NRI/ NRI sponsored candidates are exempted from the entrance test.
