MIT Institute of Design, Pune offers admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Admission will be done on the basis of the marks scored in the DAT examinations. Further, the candidates have to appear in the studio test followed by a personal interview. The detailed admission process is given below:

Admission process for B.Des:

• Candidates should qualify 10+2 examinations from the recognised board.
• Aspirants should qualify the Design Aptitude Test (DAT).
• The candidates should fill an application form on the website of MITID.
• Further,  the candidates have to appear for the studio test followed by a personal interview.
• Final admission will be done on the basis of merit in DAT examination, seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.

Admission process for M.Des:

• Candidates should qualify a bachelor's examination from the recognised institute/university.
• Aspirants should qualify the Design Aptitude Test (DAT).
• The candidates should fill an application form on the website of MITID.
• Further,  the candidates have to appear for the studio test followed by a personal interview.
• Final admission will be done on the basis of merit in DAT examination, seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.
