For Indian Students: You should have passed the two-year Pre-University examination from Karnataka State or an equivalent exam. You must have studied English and had physics, chemistry, and mathematics/biology as optional subjects. You need at least 50% marks in these science subjects altogether. You should have passed each of the physics, chemistry, and biology/mathematics subjects individually. For SAARC/NRI/Overseas students: You should have passed the 'A' level exam from your country, recognized as equivalent to 10+2 in science. English must have been one of the subjects, and you should have studied physics, chemistry, and mathematics/biology as optional subjects. For Lateral Entry: If you've passed the Diploma in Prosthetics & Orthotics approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India, you're eligible. You can directly enter the third year of the BPO course. You should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Mathematics as optional subjects. In-service candidates might be allowed to do an internship at their parent organization. Admission depends on the availability of seats in the third year. | |
One should complete a Bachelor's degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics (BPO) or B.Sc. in Prosthetics and Orthotics with at least 50% marks from any recognised university in India or abroad. One should finish your Bachelor's in Prosthetics and Orthotics (BPO) or B.Sc. in Prosthetics and Orthotics through a Bridge course/Condensed Course or through Lateral Entry after completing a Diploma in Prosthetics and Orthotics from any institution or university in India recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), New Delhi, with at least 50% marks. |
