Model College Dombivli is one of the best colleges affiliated to the Thane, Maharashtra board. The admission procedure is so in depth and so fair that only deserving candidates get an opportunity to pursue their choice of career in higher education. The admission process for a particular academic year would normally begin in June-July of each year with the application process opening a few months earlier. The basic eligibility for undergraduate programs would be a pass in 10+2 from a recognized board, whereas the actual academic requirements differ from course to course.

Application Process

The admissions process at Model College, Dombivli, generally comprises the following steps:

BMS (Bachelor in Management Studies): This self-financed course has180 seats. Admission is based primarily on the merit list derived from the 12th standard marks, but some years may also include an entrance test/interview. Total fee for this program is Rs. 55,275.

B.Sc. Computer Science: The program is self-financed and has180 seats. Admission is based on the 12th standard marks in Science subjects and may also have an aptitude test for Computer Science. Program fee structure is Rs. 98,625.

BAMMC (Media and Mass Communication): Self-financed program with 120 seats. Admission may consider 12th standard marks and an aptitude test/interview. Total Fees=55,275.

B.Sc. Life Science: Another self-financed program with120 seats. Admission is granted on marks secured in a Science subject in 12th standard. Program fee structure is Rs. 65,475.

M.Com. and M.Sc. programs: The institute offers various postgraduate programs in Commerce and Science. These programs would generally select candidates by some combination of their undergraduate marks and the entrance test or interview.
