Motilal Nehru College has shown remarkable improvement in its infrastructure over the past few years. The college is constantly upgrading its campus to meet modern standards. Classrooms have good seating arrangements. The library is spacious and stocked with a good range of academic resources. The college also provides facilities like Wi-Fi, clean washrooms, and access to a newly renovated auditorium. The sports ground and gym area have also seen improvements, supporting both physical and extracurricular activities. The overall environment is student-friendly and well-maintained, making it a comfortable place to study and grow.
Motilal Nehru College offers a solid academic environment with a well-structured curriculum and experienced faculty members. The teachers are supportive, knowledgeable, and approachable, always ready to help students with doubts and guidance beyond classroom hours. The college regularly organizes seminars, webinars, and academic workshops that enhance learning and keep students updated with current trends in their respective fields. Internal assessments and assignments are conducted timely, and overall, the academic discipline is well maintained. It’s a great place for students who are serious about their studies.
The placement scenario at Motilal Nehru College is average and still has room for improvement. While a few reputed companies do visit the campus, the overall number of placements is limited, especially for non-technical courses. Most opportunities come through the Central Placement Cell of Delhi University rather than the college itself. There is a need for a more active placement cell and better industry connections to ensure students from all streams get relevant job opportunities. Internships are available but largely depend on individual effort. With more focus and initiative, the placement scene can definitely improve.
Motilal Nehru College offers excellent value for money. The fee structure is very affordable, especially considering the quality of education, experienced faculty, and the academic environment provided. Students get access to various academic and extracurricular opportunities at a minimal cost. For anyone looking for a quality education on a budget, this college is definitely a great choice. The return on investment in terms of learning and overall development is impressive.
Campus life at Motilal Nehru College is vibrant and full of energy. There are numerous student-run societies covering everything from dramatics and dance to commerce, debating, and social service. These societies regularly organize fests, events, and competitions, making the overall experience lively and engaging. Annual fests like Phoenix bring in a lot of enthusiasm and participation from across Delhi University. The environment is friendly and inclusive, and students get plenty of opportunities to showcase their talents, build leadership skills, and make lasting memories. It’s the perfect blend of academics and fun.
No, Thank you.
Our college infrastructure is good but the work for the auditorium started just this year. Our college's library is the most working department which issues books on right time. Best thing I like about my college is our sports ground but badminton court is still work in progress. Some professors are good but mostly are boring who don't even give us lacture properly. The loveable place in my college is the canteen which is too pocket friendly and taste is also good except chole bhature.
I am persuing b.com at my college because I want to continue this field and work accordingly. Some professors are very good at teaching but mostly are boring and are aslo not very regular. I think method of teaching should be updates here and practical subjects should be teaches at the labs only not in the classrooms. I don't think only studying one course can make us job ready nowadays.
Placements are held by the placement cells if we take placement through the college. Qualification and qualities are based on the company in which you'll be get hired. Average package I don't know as I am an newly 2nd year student.
College life starts teaching you how to make budget. B.com does not cost very much in our college. Mostly du colleges don't charge much for course fees. I guess the course worth the fee we are giving and it is note that much costly comparing with other colleges.
Overall college life is fun. The sports tournaments and all are so enjoyable and competitive. Best time is the election time when you can see the real delhi university's total drama and fun. Very less teachers are personally interactive Our college is in very safe location so no need about the safety. It can also handle emergencies but college should also keep an ambulance in the college premises.
Wi-Fi connectivity is available, but the connection speed is unreliable. The library is well-stocked, which is a bonus. Food from the canteen is tolerable, but don't hope for a lot of variety or quality.in a whole the infrastructure is impressive.
The syllabus is academically sound but lacks industry relevance, particularly if you are looking to get into the careers directly after graduation. Examinations are not that tough provided you go to class and study little by little on a regular basis.
placements of BA Economics and Math students in Motilal Nehru College are very less. 20% of willing students are placed, but at sales, support, or entry analyst level. Honestly, if you’re aiming for a good job, you’ll have to build your profile on your own through internships, certifications, or higher studies.
Infrastructure okay for the fees but can make improvements in sports facilities. Classroom should have ACs, in summer it's gets very difficult to sit and canteen can be improved to make it look better and bigger.
Academics are good. Attendance should be more flexible. Case studies should be common. Out of class learning should be implemented. The electives options can be increased. Examinations can be held in a better manner.
Not really gives placements in big organisation but okay for someone to who has contacts in placement committee. Internships are there, some are unpaid some are paid internships. Being affiliated to University of Delhi helps in central placements if one wants
Yes the college have all the necessary infrastructure ,facilities and equipments. Classes and libraries are quite spacious and have AC. Wifi at some places of college campus has low speed. There is no hostel facilities. And the around the college is quite expensive to rent a pg. The canteen is hygienic and has reasonable prices. The cleanliness is maintained.
I am pursuing BA in political science . The teachers here are excellent , they teach very well. The curriculum is updated .I think in this field masters is required to grab a job. And some students prepare for government exams also.
As for Placement not much companies visit the campus. However college provides various internship. I did an internship at Infosys through college and got certificate as well. The average package offered was 6.7 lpa.
The cost of course is between 10000 to 13000 per year ,which is very reasonable. And the quality education is worth the money.
There are many societies in du where engage and which helps in their personality development. The crowd is good . The location is safe .
The faculty of the college is excellent . Though it does not have smart board in class. But the best part about this college is societies and academics.
The infrastructure of the college is average. The classrooms are clean and have projectors in certain rooms. library is stocked well and has a peaceful environment to study. The campus also contains sports facilities and a canteen, area which provide proper hygienic
Teachers nd faculty are very amazing and the majority of teachers are cooperative. Regular classes take place, and the syllabus is properly planned. If students remain regular, they can obtain good marks.
Placement opportunities are mediocre. A few companies visit for campus recruitment, primarily for B.A. and commerce students, but the packages are not that great. Students who actively participate in internships and societies get better opportunities.
It is worth the money.
Campus life is lively and dynamic. There are various societies such as drama, dance, debate, etc. College fests are exciting and provide relief from studies. Students from different backgrounds study here, so it's a great place to interact with new people.
If we see the infrastructure of the college which was bad earlier have been significantly improved in this year with the addition of stage and AC facilities in all the classrooms. The college have good amount of classes,well-equiped labs and library with a small seminar and activity room for organising any events only thing which lacks behind is an auditorium for which the foundation has been already laid recentlly.
Currently I'm in my second year of Bcom here which I opted obviously because of DU tag but the best part was that the faculty of commerce here was far better than the college image. Teachers are very supportive and qualified which is a very great experience to attended their lectures.
Since the placement cell was shut down from last two years the placements opportunity here have been not to the stature of DU other colleges of South Campus due to which students here mostly rely on off-campus placements.
Looking upon the time you here costs much more than the minimal fees that you give. Since the opportunities are limited it's not a great place as such to invest all your 3 years just doing basic graduation which doesn't provide any ROI.
The campus is pretty lively with the events of each society going on a weekly basis which adds on to the point that the students mostly engaged in these activities are satisfied with the college life inspite those who aren't part of it.
The college seems very cozy and small. The classrooms are not large enough but they are of sufficient size recently got equipped with acs, earlier had Ac in a few classes but now all the classes have ac. Canteen is huge and so is the playground.
The whole academic pattern is based on the new education policy though they still use the traditional methods of teaching, hot no smart boards, need to take permission before using a projector. Overall the academic background is bearable as th faculty is full of knowledge.
Placements are kind of tough to get here as it is and underrated college though located in the south campus. Placement cell is responsible for any good opportunities here. But doesn't organise any workshops on how to build your resume and how to sit in an interview.
There are not enough digital facilities Ike projectors and smart boards. The library has limited books and there are limitations om number of books that can be issued.Class room are small and fans doesn't work properly.
The curriculum is based on nep and the library also has all the latest books available though the quantity is less and that's why most of the students don't get to take those books as they are already issued by others. The faculty is nice and considerate about the internals.
The only thing not good about this college is the placement environment even though the college is located in the south campus of delhi university it still gets ignored by major companies. Only the placement cell is responsible for any good opportunities.
The college's infrastructure is not very good, classrooms are small and conjusted and some of the classes do not have proper lighting or fans. Some classess have acs, canteen is huge and has affordable food.
Most of the teachers follow the old methods which makes the whole thing very boring though the curriculum is updated based on the recent education policy. Rarely there are any workshops conducted by the college, only the societies are conducted seminars and workshops mostly.
The placements available in my college are average as not many big companies come here often and they also select a very few students. The placement cell does not provide proper training like mock interviews or resume building sessions.
