Nabira Mahavidyalaya, Katol Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college campus boasts of a large play area for various sports activities, and our students participate in inter-collegiate tournaments for Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Table Tennis, Chess, Athletics, Fencing, Yogasan, Ball Badminton, HandBall, Boxing, and Cross Country. Many of the students get selected for University Teams, and deserving students are rewarded by the college authorities in the form of cash prizes, sports kits, and track suits.

Additionally,Nabira Mahavidyalaya, Katol has a well-equipped gymnasium with two multi-station gym machines, encouraging students to use these facilities to stay fit and healthy. The college also runs a Yoga Centre, which is open to interested students and people of Katol town. The Yoga Bhavan is well-equipped, and periodic Yoga Camps are organised to spread awareness about yoga.

Nabira Mahavidyalaya Katol has established a well-equipped computer centre to spread computer literacy among our students. All college students are compulsorily given computer training in Windows, MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, Internet, and Tally. The central library is rich and spacious, with more than 50,000 books on various subjects available for students. The working of the library is fully computerised, and students can avail of the Book Bank facility.

The college also provides a girls' hostel facility, and interested students should contact the warden after admission. A canteen facility is available for students on the college premises. There is a cycle/motorcycle stand near the main entrance of the college, maintained on a self-financing basis. Students are advised to keep their vehicles parked in the stand after locking them properly, and the college takes no responsibility for loss or damage of vehicles parked without proper locking.

The college has a National Service Scheme (NSS) unit, and students desirous of participating in NSS activities are advised to contact the NSS Coordinator after finalising their admission. Various social programs are organised by the NSS unit during the session, and students participating in NSS activities get the benefit of incentive marks.

There is also an NCC unit for boys and girls, and admission programs for NCC are notified to students in July/August every year. Desirous students are advised to contact the NCC unit in-charge for finalising their participation in NCC.

Nabira Mahavidyalaya, Katol has appointed a panel of expert doctors for providing medical assistance to students in college premises. Medical tests of all students are organised at the beginning of the session every year, and it is mandatory for all admitted students to undergo a physical efficiency test. Students are encouraged to practise yoga for good health, and the college organises yoga camps and runs a yoga centre.
