Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics/ Mathematics as major subjects.

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics as Ancillary/ Allied Subject.

Bachelor’s Degree with additional Diploma in Health Science/ Statistics accepted by the syndicate of the Periyar University

MPH Epidemiology and Health Systems

Candidates should have an MBBS recognized by the Medical Council of India and must be working in the Public Health, preferably regularised and permanent employees of the Central or State Government Department or Medical institutions; Non Government candidates worked/ working in Public Health And must have 3 years experience in Public Health related activities and must be less than 45 years old.

The Departmental candidates from the ICMR institutions will be granted age relaxation of 5 years. SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates will be eligible for age relaxation as per the Government of India rules and regulations.

Candidates must meet the minimum Eligibility Criteria.
Candidates must apply for the National Institute of Epidemiology through its official website.

Selected candidates must then apply for Provisional Registration to TNMGRMU in the stipulated time as per the University Guidelines.

NleCer 104 Introduction to Systematic Reviews for Dental Health Professionals	Candidates should have a UG Degree in Medical/ Dental or AYUSH students graduate in any other discipline.
Basic Course in Biomedical Research	Candidates must be a Dental Postgraduate or the Teacher in the Dental College which is recognised by the Dental Council of India.
Ethics Review of Health Research	Candidates must be the members of India's Institutional Ethics Committees and Institutional Review Boards (including Secretarial Staff) and Professionals engaged in Biomedical Research involving human participants.
Basic Course in Biomedical Research- Cycle 4	Candidates should be a Medical Postgraduate (MD, MCH, MS, DM) or must be a Teacher in the Medical Institution.

Candidates must get themselves registered for the Online Programmes through the official website of NIE Chennai.

NIE Chennai Required Documents

Admit Card and Score Card of the Written Test (for admission in the PG programmes).
Class 10th Marksheet.
Class 12th Marksheet.
Undergraduate and Postgraduate (if applicable) Marksheet.
Proof of Residence,
Proof of Income (if applicable).
Caste Certificate for the candidates who belong to the Reserved Categories.
Migration Certificate issued by the head of the Institution last attended.
Character Certificate issued by the head of the Institution last attended.

Yes M.B.B.S. degree is necessary for studying MPH in National Institute of Epidemiology .

Eligibility criterias for MPH in National Institute of Epidemiology are :-

M.B.B.S. degree recognized by Medical Council of India
Working in public health, preferably in State or Central Government Department or in Medical institutions, sponsored on deputation for two year on full-time basis
Three years experience in public health related activities
Also the age limit is 40 years and relaxation of 5 years is given to SC/ST/PWD category .
