All students are covered under the Medicare Scheme which entitles them to free medical treatment at the 1200-bed multi-specialty KS Hegde Hospital and dental treatment at AB Shetty Dental Hospital on campus.

The college has a library facility for all students.

The sports facilities in the campus consist of an athletic turf track of 400 meters, a Football ground, a Cricket pitch, Tennis, Basketball, Volleyball, and Badminton courts. The campus has facilities for indoor games like Table Tennis, Chess, and Carrom. The air-conditioned Gymnasium housed in a 5500 sq. ft building is kept open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. for the benefit of students and hostellers. The services of 3 professionally trained instructors are available. The equipment consists of treadmills, elliptical trainers, exercise bikes, rowing machines, and a multi-specialty multi-gym.

The hostellers are provided with a cot, cupboard, study table, and chair. Every hostel has solar water heaters, a WiFi facility, a multi-specialty telephone, a TV room, a reading room, a visitors lounge, water coolers, generators, 24x7 security, and surveillance cameras. AC rooms are available in some of the hostels. The hostels also have facilities for indoor and outdoor games.

Student Nurses Association of Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences was established in the year 2004. SNA provides great opportunities for student nurses to showcase their talents and thus promotes the personal, intellectual, professional, and social growth of its members. The SNA unit will act as a liaison between nursing students and nursing faculty. The students are provided with various opportunities to excel in academic and health-related programs both in state and national level competitions, such as sports, cultural events, debate, and quiz competitions. The SNA strictly follows the bylaws framed by the Trained Nurses Association of India (TNAI).
