The institute has its own dedicated placement department that understands the market job dynamics  and bridges the gap between the recruiters and the job seekers.the department has an association with approximately 250+ National and multinational companies and provides the students with opportunities to learn, grow and build their career. Pune Institute of Business Management’s placement process is conducted by top companies from diverse sectors like financial services, banking, insurance, consumer durables, FMCG, retail, E-commerce, manufacturing, etc. the placement department puts in a lot of effort to prepare students for the recruitment process.. These include- communication training, aptitude training and presentation training. The students are evaluated based on a lot of different aspects and given the feedback along with suggestions to improve.

 Mock interviews conducted by the department, gives students the clarity on where the gaps are and how much effort is required to be put in.  Mock GDs have the students well informed about the happenings in the business world so that they have more confidence while speaking among a group of intellectuals and clear the selection rounds of the companies visiting the campus placement process. The department also organises training and interaction sessions with corporate heads throughout the year. The corporate heads train and mentor the students through interactive sessions,GD/PI training and group mentoring sessions. The department arranges for live projects and industry visits. The students are provided with live business projects of various domains during the course. These projects and internships help to fill the knowledge gap between classroom theories and practical hands-on implementation in companies.
