Nice infra, skilled and trained professionals for teaching.

    College Infrastructure

College having proper classrooms with lab for all departments, number of tables and gadgets in lab as per number of student in batch. There is two library with a computer lab separately, volleyball court,Table tennis, cricket practice pitch, gym are there. Hostles are very well maitained, workers are there for hostel cleaning everyday at morning, toilet and bathrooms are sufficient in number as per number of students.food and canteen are not as per mark but it just adjustable.

    Academics

Am studying my MBBS,and the quality of teaching is nice, faculty is excellent, number and timing of lectures and practicals are within the scheduled time, after the academic yes there will definitely a job.

    Placements

Hahaha,as am a medical student there is always a government job available for MBBS students, and salary as per government scheme in state you appointed, yes college and faculty is very saportive for every student in the way personaly and professionally.

    Value for Money

Its cost around 70k per year excluding mess, which cost around 3k per month.which is very much for a lower middle class students specially when you work hard to get a government college.when one heard about university like JNU where you get a room in 10 rupees its feel robbed.

    Campus Life

Campus is nice, there are lots of lectures to attend since 9 am to 5 pm,along with hospital posting.but for fun and activities are also there through, ganesh festival, dahi handi, annual festival (18days),cricket matches, marathon.

    Others

Its a nice college for academic and hospital practice point of view with well organised schedules for theory n practicals, weather is very helpful for studies, accommodation and hostels are excellent but mess is very poor with quality and taste of food.

Have a question related to Rajarshee Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Government Medical College and CPR Hospital, Kolhapur ?

please tell the safe score for general category and Maharashtra domicile

Rose, you haven't mentioned your Category. There are Government Medical Colleges and Private Medical COlleges that are available in Maharashtra State Counselling. The 85% State Quota and Private Colleges are filled by the respective State Authorities. For GMCs, if you belong to General Category, you will need more than 600 and it is 550 for Reserved Categories. And there are 3 Categories in Private Medical Colleges. Category A is the Government Quota Seats. And only candidates of the home State are eligible to apply for these seats. Here for General Category students, the cut offs will be atleast 575 and for Reserved Categories, it is usually 525. B Category seats are also called Management Quota Seats and they are filled through State Counselling and here you will need atleast 500 for General Category and  450 for Reserved Categories and the remaining seats are filled through direct Admissions by contacting the College directly. Here the fees is usually nothing less than 40 lakhs. The last Category is NRI seats Category and you cannot apply for that. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. For Rajshree Medical College, in 2019, 587 was the cut off under General Category and so you should aim for nothing less than 600 if you belong to General Category. To help you with your NEET preparation, we have NEET Knockout packages that you can check at: https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may/.
