Academics
College is good in terms of academics. The professors teach really well. There are regular tests which enhance the learning skills of students. Separate tutorial classes are also held to clear doubtsm
Placements
As a fresher, I do not have much direct knowledge or experience regarding placements at this stage, so I cannot comment in detail on how the process works or how successful it has been for students so far. However, from what I have observed and heard from seniors, the college seems to have an active placement cell that takes initiatives to guide students and bring in opportunities
Campus Life
Campus is too small so do not expect much here. It has a library, canteen and a girls' common room which are some of the good things. For sports players, there is a huge ground and even a basketball court.

One of the most reputed engineering campus in Hyderabad
College Infrastructure
Osmania University’s engineering campus has old yet strong buildings. Civil engineering labs are functional, with testing machines and drawing halls useful for structural students. The library has a rich collection of books and journals. However, being a government university, some labs need upgrades and more modern software support.
Academics
The part-time M.Tech in Structural Engineering is well structured for working professionals. Teachers are experienced and explain concepts with practical examples related to design and construction. The curriculum covers advanced structural analysis, RCC, steel design, and earthquake engineering. Guidance is strong, but classes can sometimes feel rushed due to part-time format.
Placements
Placements for M.Tech civil students are not very strong inside the campus compared to IT fields. Many students rely on their own connections, private firms, or government exams. For working professionals, the degree adds value to career growth rather than immediate placements.
Campus Life
Evening and weekend classes mean part-time M.Tech students miss some regular campus activities. Still, the environment is academic-focused and interactive. Full-time students enjoy fests, sports, and cultural programs, while part-time learners benefit more from peer interaction and group projects.
Anything Else
Osmania University remains one of the most reputed names in Hyderabad for engineering. M.Tech in Structural Engineering, even in part-time mode, provides solid knowledge and recognition. While facilities need modern upgrades and placements are limited, the value of the degree for long-term career growth is strong.
Great b.tech experience with scope for growth
College Infrastructure
CBIT Hyderabad has a big campus with modern classrooms, well-maintained civil engineering labs, and a good library. Surveying equipment, drawing halls, and computer labs for design software are available. The campus is clean, though some old blocks need more updates.
Academics
Placement chances for civil students are fewer compared to IT or CSE branches. A few construction and infrastructure firms hire through campus, but many students prefer pursuing higher education or government exams. Placement training sessions are still helpful.
Placements
Placement chances for civil students are fewer compared to IT or CSE branches. A few construction and infrastructure firms hire through campus, but many students prefer pursuing higher education or government exams. Placement training sessions are still helpful.
Campus Life
Life at CBIT is vibrant with fests, cultural programs, and sports tournaments. Students from all branches join together in clubs and events. The atmosphere is friendly, and civil students also take part in competitions that improve both technical and social skills.
Anything Else
CBIT Hyderabad is one of the reputed institutes for B.Tech. Civil branch students get proper guidance and exposure, though placements in core companies are fewer. With its reputation and learning environment, it offers a strong base for future growth.
Faculty members are well behaved.
College Infrastructure
The hostel is pretty good for the price and charges. The mess food is also above average and suitable for everyone. A gym facility is also available for hostel students. Extra activities and functions are also held for hostel students. The hostel is pretty good for the university.
Academics
Faculty members are average, a few are excellent while a few just take their anger out on students. Exams are held regularly. Endsem midsem marks are adjusted so as to provide a nice academic semester for students. Internal marks do matter a lot.
Placements
Placements are good only and not many students are placed. Companies do come to the college but not many hiring are done from the qis university. The highest package from the university is not much but placements do happen on an average scale in the qis University.
Good placements in 2024 and 2023. But faculty members.
College Infrastructure
Library is a place where intelligence meets innovation but here in GL Bajaj it's just a huge trash can. It has very less books. A college library should contain a lot of books from every field. But they have just few books which are just for college exams wife facility and good infrastructure and maintains is good.
Academics
Curriculum needs to be changed. Faculty members need to focus on application-based things instead of just dictating theories. It's B.Tech not B.Sc. so they need to teach it like B.Tech. College has strict attendance policy but they don't teach practically.
Placements
About 80% of students are placed with 5 LPA - 6 LPA average package. Our course offers jobs in the fields of consultancy, software, and core. The system of getting internships is the worst. You are not allowed to do internships at the end of the first year even if you have skills and eligibility.
