Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering is a three-year full-time course offered by the Directorate of Technical Education, Bangalore, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Eligibility Criteria

The Candidate Passed the 10th Std./ SSC examination. Obtained at least 35% marks in the qualifying examination.

Lateral entry

Candidates who have passed SSLC or Equivalent Examination with 35% of marks in aggregate and have passed ITI (2 2-year course) /PUC II could apply for admission to the 3rd semester(2 nd year).

Admission Details

Candidates seeking admission to a diploma can get application forms in any of the nearby Govt/Aided Polytechnics by producing a bank payment challan. The filled application forms must be submitted to any one of the nearby Government/Aided Polytechnics, where verification of all relevant original documents takes place. Also, the candidates have to enter their required college and course options through the online option entry system. After document verification and option entry, the noninteractive admission software allocates the diploma seats to the candidates according to their option entry and based on their merit and reservation category. Finally, the candidates have to make the required fee payment and report to the allotted institutions within the stipulated time.
