Great infrastructure with super faculty. Large Library with abundance of resources. Disciplined along with enjoyment. Best fest among other colleges. Clean and hygienic classroom, canteen, work place.
Great academics with nice faculty members. Each teacher help with every problem students face . Environment is competitive as compared to academics. Have every subjects available which one wants to study.
In regard to placement I would like to say that there is very low chance of placement. 3 among 10 will get placed . Not very known companies come for placement so there is difficulty in finding job or internship.
For value of money it is not so good. Very thing is average . Faculty is good but for value for money it's not so worth it . But for overall Delhi University degree It can work . You can find some great people it you try.
In regard to campus life I would like to say there is no campus life. But for overall college life it is good. You will find some great people who matches your vibe but only if you try to find and communicate.
Great college life experience. But has no campus life , very little placement but have great faculty members, great people if you try to communicate with others. Overall College life is good if you try to find people of your vibe.
Although the infrastructure here is not as advanced or well-maintained as some other colleges in DU, there are still plenty of reasons to appreciate being a student at the college The buildings and facilities might be lacking in modern amenities, and sometimes it feels like they could use a significant upgrade. However, what the college lacks in infrastructure, it more than makes up for in other areas.
The professors and lecturers are not only highly qualified and knowledgeable but also incredibly supportive and approachable. They genuinely care about the students and are always willing to help, whether it's with academic queries or personal guidance. Their dedication to teaching and mentoring makes a significant difference in the overall educational experience.
In terms of placements, the college offers average opportunities. While some students do secure good positions, the overall placement rate and the packages offered are moderate and could benefit from improvement.
Overall, despite its infrastructural shortcomings, Sri Guru Nanak Dev khalsa College offers a supportive faculty and an outstanding society culture that make it a great place to study.
The college boasts a diverse range of student societies and clubs, catering to various interests and hobbies. These societies are well-organized and active, providing students with ample opportunities to engage in extracurricular activities, develop new skills, and make lasting friendships. Compared to other colleges in DU
The infrastructure of this college is comparatively smaller as compared to the other colleges ,there is no ground in this college, there is no space for parking here,if there is any big event or orientation it is conducted in the gallery where all students can't be accomodated. There is no media lab for the students of journalism. There is no sports facilities for the students coming from sports quota. There is no hostel facility available, wifi is very slow. Food available in the canteen isn't at all hygienic .
The academics are the only thing because of which students are somewhat happy with this college NAAC has gives A rating to our college ,this college produces good results , recently one of our alumni cleared UPSC. Classes are conducted regularly, unlike other colleges of the university.
After many years this college organised a placement where different companies came for recruiting students.companies such as mamaearth, and decathlon attracted a lot of students.course such as bbe ,bcom ,bcom hons, economics hons were in demand. The highest CTC offered was somewhere around 9-10 lacs. The average was 3-4 lacs
Like if you are also dreaming to pursue your UG from University of Delhi ,then this college is never a bad option .It is much better than the so called private colleges charging extra fees. The fees for courses is around 20,000 per year . Whereas for journalism and BBE course it around 40000. It is definitely worth it to pursue your course from here.
Here you'll get a campus life which is mixture of various things ,here you'll meet topper, genius minded students who are willing to launch their own startup or brand.Students full of ambitions, Here one will never feel left out . At the same time this college is well known for its political activities and student activities. Students organisation such as ABVP,SOI and SOD are highly active here . ABVP dominates the game every time.
Having personally experienced Sri Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa College, I found it to be a place where despite the small infrastructure, there's much more this college has to offer in terms of friendships and knowledge.
The classrooms, though compact, foster an intimate learning environment conducive to meaningful interactions with professors. I've been particularly impressed by the teachers who not only excel in their subjects but also go out of their way to ensure students comprehend the material.
Although i haven't personally experienced the placement process, i feel placement are a bit on the lower end, however it all depends on your profile, you can always apply off campus and score a good job
The infrastructure of the college was not so big but college administration always tried to provide the best facilities to their students which is a most important thing for any student. College infrastructure is fully secured.
Academics of the college was also ver good. Teachers are highly qualified and are very cooperative in nature and always ready to help the students in all the ways they can. along with that administration of the college is very good.
I didn't know much about the placement of the college but i didn't apply for the same because i was going for higher studies but according to my knowledge college provide decent placements to their students and students also get very good packages.
The infrastructure is not good at all as compared to other colleges of Delhi University as there is no proper drinking water facilities and also cafeteria is very unhygienic and also there is lack of basic facilities in the campus.
Academics is really good as teachers are supportive in nature and provides proper guidance to the students in every aspect. Also there is regular counselling sessions conducted by the faculty to guide the students.
Placement cell of the college is not much effective and there is not much opportunities for the students because of very less companies approaching college for the placement. But students are very skilled so they get placement easily on their own.
As per the fee structure college is really value for money
Campus life is real good and enjoyable.
The college infrastructure is not very big as compared to other delhi university college. They dont have wifi facilities . The food is average and try to avoid canteen food and carry your own lunch. Yes
The academics and teaching quality is good. They very well focus on each topic and make sure every thing is well covered. The curriculum is up to date and further external knowledge is required for jobs.
The placement for graduates are average. The package is not very high and its mostly upto 5 LPA. As the competition is high in graduation so its tough to get selected in companies. The college was supportive with process.
The BBE course’s fee is around 40K per year. So yes its bit high as compared to other courses. But it is a vast course and its related to management. The money I invested in this has given me good return.
The campus life is good. Students can be part of various clubs and spend their time there. The location is in crowed area . The location is not very safe for women in night. And it can handle emergencies .
Sri Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa College, New Delhi can be a good option for your graduation. This college has good faculty and necessary facilities as are available as well. Computer labs are well maintained and used on a regular basis for various practical subjects. The negative aspect of this college is just that there is no sports ground within their premises. Therefore, it misses on practice sessions for some outdoor sports activities.
This college has good faculty as they are quite helpful. Computer labs are used whenever required in the practical subjects. Students get multiple options while selecting subjects in their respective courses.
As per what i came to know from our seniors, placements are average. You will get chance for placement which offer decent annual packages. There is a placement cell of the college which update students through their social media handles about any placement drive.
Yes, this college is value for money.
Campus Life depends on whether one can socialize or not. There are many societies in this college which shall be joined by one to get a whole lot of interesting exposure. Students, teachers and support staff are good in nature and really helpful.
College environment is very good. One can get a great experience if he/she gets an option to get their graduation done from this reputed college.
Not that big of a college but yeah it surely has good facilities like proper classrooms, laboratories and library. Then there is a well built but normal canteen which not the best but not the worst either.
I am currently a second year English honours student and trust me the quality is quite good. Teachers are way too good of behaviour and have a great in depth knowledge of the fields which helps in easy and fun learning. But in my opinion the study does not make you job ready you have to do that by yourself.
This is something that i find both good and a bit confusing as i have heard that the college offers good placements but at the same time haven’t seen anyone in my knowns getting college placements, so this is something beyond my knowledge.
My course i.e English honours costed me around 16k per year, which in comparison to other DU colleges is quite on an affordable side, which makes is somewhat a good pick for students with less family income. I personally feel the money is worth it but still the facilities like college canteens bathrooms could have been better, i must say.
College campus's best and worst feature could be it’s size simultaneously, as sometimes colleges with large campus make it impossible to attend classes or events as they can be on different ends which is why it is it’s best feature but as a negative it is quite small which makes it feel like a school. Student and teachers are quite good and personally speaking very helpful, but the staff in my opinion should be changed a bit as they are more of a rude behaviour. Yes absolutely the college premises are safe undoubtedly.
Infrastructure is good we have labs in our college, a canteen, stairs sitting area and a ac library too the college premises is always clean and buildings are in good condition also. We have parking space as well
I am from commerce course and the teachers are so helpful and loving. They make everything understand very easily we also have our practicals classes too which help us in our academics alot and the time table is also comfortable
We have a good amount of placement opportunities here, companies like byjus's also come to our college and average salary package is 3-5 lakh per annum which is enough for a fresher in this field we always looks upon placements here.
The free structure is also quite acceptable as we are able to get quality education, various workshops and seminars etc. in this much fees which is very great so it is worth paying fees here and having a quality study.
The campus life is not at all boring as atmosphere is friendly also. We have seminars, trips, workshops and societies to built out social relationships along with communication skills as well leading to good campus life.
My experience is very good i am able to have great friends here with quality studies and mesmerizing campus life also
