The infrastructure can be improved but there is no maintenance in the college. The auditorium and jannat area are good. But if you expect some good events and cultural fests, then being a minority college, they are not open to other religion n culture.
Its similar to other colleges only. The academics of all colleges in du are almost same. Their infrastructure, events n fests, Extracurricular activities, placement, etc rank them different. In du, for studies, you have to depend on urself only.
Well, the placements of the college is average ( not so good but no so bad too). If u have skills then u can crack 15-20 LPA too, but if u don't have skills n even if u r in srcc, u can't get the desired placements.
The college infrastructure is not good, the classrooms are not as good and the ACs don't work in summers in most classes and the Wifi also works poorly, but the library is good but it has old books so it needs to stock up new ones.
I am pursuing B.com and the commerce faculty in the college is great. The teachers are well qualified and experienced. Also the college follows the latest curriculum as per NEP, but there is not a wide range of subjects to choose as additionals.
The college has a very good placement cell, though am not sure about the exact numbers about the placement but it does provide a lot of internship opportunities from top companies which includes even Deloitte. It also organises an annual internship and placement fare in which the highest stipend went upto 80k.
The fees for my course i.e. Bcom is 30180 per year and i think it is really value for money if we talk about the curriculum and the course but the college infrastructure is not good and also it's fees is higher than any other college of DU.
The college campus is not so big and there's nothing to explore, there is nothing much to do in the college so it's kinda boring.
The college infrastructure was good and adjustable. The availability of basic necessities like sanitation water kanteen and other things was nice. Rooms and labs were fully ventilated. The ground was open and big.
The teaching style and parameteres of teaching was on the bench mark. Teaching was suitable and according to the current requirements of the curriculum. Lessons were given on the time. The teaching staff was punctual and supportive as well.
The placement of students was satisfaying. The management staff for the organisation of the placement was good. The parameters for the selection was moderate and according to the student's interest and need.
My course cost around 10000 per year and that was economic friendly
The staff was very supportive and cooperative
I would like to recommend the college for the best study environment and other alluring features of the campus
GTB COLLEGE has all basic facility in the campus like , classroom , library , hostel , wifi and labs which are well maintained . Canteen facility in the campus with hygiene food . Overall structure of infrastructure is good.
This college has experienced and dedicated faculty members who helps and support the students during their course period . Quality of teaching is outstanding as faculty are experienced in their domain. Curriculum is also industry oriented .
College has active placement cell offering good internship and job opportunity . They also provide mentorship, counselling and career guidance to the students for future fit jobs . Most of the students gets internship.
The college had basic but pretty infrastructure. The facilities were very good And appreciable. There was good strength of Wifi in the campus area. the classrooms were filled with good furniture and fully air conditioned.
The academics area of the college was very good. The quality if teaching was very good and teachers were eager to help students. I studied Bachelors of Science in Mathematics (Honors) from there. The syllabus was vast and good.
The placement faculty of the college was incredible as many students those who has applied for the jobs and internships were hired instantly. The highest salary package was about 4 lakhs per year. The process was easy for the students.
The course cost around 30000 Rs. per year including miscellaneous fees. I feel confidently that i got a lot worth my money. i learnt various computer programs along with academics. And also i made a lot of memories.
Overall infrastructure is nice. Every Classroom has Air Conditioner . Desks are also comfortable and in proper condition . Smartboards are there in computer labs other classes have a white board......
Quality of teaching is overall good . Teachers are understanding and co-operate with the students . Curriculum is updated . We can pursue extra courses according to our interests and goals............
Placements overall are average . If you have good grades you stand a high chance of getting selected in the interview . I dont know the exact figures but overall placements are decent . Focus on doing extra courses.
Fees is also low and affordable . Fees varies from 10000 to 30000 according to the course you want to pursue . If you live far off from the college daily travel expenses can affect your affordability .
Campus life overall is good . College is situated in north campus and has a very vibrant environment. Events happen frequently around all the colleges and all the college students of Du are permitted to go.
Infrastructure is not well-maintained but all the necessary equipment and facilities are available there for students and staff also. Living space and food is tasty, healthy and hygienic. Food is cheap too.
Teachers are very knowledgeable and student friendly. they solve students doubts and problems and are always ready to help them. curriculum is not updated regularly but includes basic important things.
Placement opportunities are very less especially for science and B.Sc. courses. Average package for students was around 10-12 lakhs per annum and the placement process was convenient for many students.
air conditioned classroom, average cafeteria, and a huge playground. A very big and helpful library with cooperative staff. Labs are well equipped with instruments. furniture is also fine. a good classroom experience.
Teachers are very helpful, they help you in solving doubts, give attention to your queries, they yeach us all new relevant and update material of the course. a very good academic experience, making you job ready.
The placement assistance is good Almost all the students were placed in our batch. The highest package offered is 8-9 LPA. approximately. The lowest package offered is around 3-5 LPA approximately. The average package is 6 Lacs. 90 percent of the students got internship in the course.
The college is well versed with necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. It contains good science and computer laboratories, sports centres, etc the campus is well versed with wifi facility and the space is neat and clean.
I have completed BA honors in History subject, The curriculum is updated with the latest edition. The quality of teaching is very good and gives you in depth knowledge of the subject which upgrades your knowledge.
I do not have much knowledge about placement as I did not took part in it. You can easily get all the placement related information from the college website. As far as I have heard placement depart is quite supportive.
Overall my experience with the college was not upto the mark as though the location of the college was in north campus but still the placements of the college was very in less in comparison to the other colleges of north campus. I would not definitely suggest this college to anyone.
I pursued business economics whose faculty was very supportive and impressive who always adopted modern methods of teaching for making the students understand all the course related concepts easily. Overall the course curriculum though was very outdated.
The placements of the college were really bad, only sales and marketing companies came to our campus for hiring majorly. Though there were many good recruiters like Deloitte, EY India, Bain and Company, WTW, RSA , Digit Insurance, Nation with Namo. The highest package was around 19 lakes per annum and the average ctc was around 6.5 whereas the median package for the year stood around 6.48 lakes per annum.
Definitely this college is not value for money since fees structure for this college is very high in comparison to not only the xollegs of the North campus area but also the colleges of the south campus where the average fees is between 15000 to 20000 for all major course.
The infrastructure of the college is very bad as the walls of the college are in a very dilapidated condition due to which the students face the risk of getting hurt due to the falling walls in the college. Also the canteen food is very bad and unhygienic.
I would rate it 2 stars since the placement scenario is very bad as well as the college administration is very pathetic and they don't know how to behave with their students in the college. I believe that the infrastructure of the college also needs to be improved as it is not really up to the mark.
Hello aspirant
Gargi College has been an amazing college and ranked 16th in the NIRF 2021 ranking in the college category and it was ranked 16th in the NIRF 2020 college ranking. The college has been granted the Star College status by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India consecutively for 9 years.
sgtb college is also an excellent college with a credit in NAAC established in 1951 with 15 acres campus . it's a tough call to choose one of the college among these two .

Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College, New Delhi, will be the best option among the Gargi, ARSD, and Khalsa College if the distance is not the parameter.
SGTB Khalsa College is the oldest college with the best infrastructure and phenomenal teaching faculty. Every facility is available in this college.
For Maths Hons, I suggest you prefer SGTB Khalsa over other colleges; else, ARSD is not a bad option.

Hi.
OBC Students are allowed under General Category students in SGTB Khalsa, Delhi. This is so because the college does not cover OBC Category under Reserved Category and has allotted Categories to Sikh Minority, PwD, EWS and Kashmiri Migrant. The reservation category seats and the categories that benefit from this it is an internal and private matter for the institute administration and may or may not be revealed.
Good Luck
