The college has outstanding infrastructure. Classrooms are well lit and fully air-conditioned (only science block). Library is best in DU. The college has its own gym, a large sports ground, a table tennis room, a zoological garden, music room, etc. It has all necessary equipment and facilities. Canteen is also good and provides tasty food at affordable rates.
I studied Bachelors of Physical Sciences with Chemistry as my specialization. Quality of teaching is good. Since it was a general programme and not an honours course, only non-permanent faculties were allowed to teach us. Teachers were very supportive. Curriculum was good.
There is no placement for B. Sc. Physical Sciences in Khalsa College. Infact, I do not think if any college in India provides placement in B. Sc. Although for commerce courses, placements were there and it was good.
Every facility is available in this college and the best part is that it has a very beautiful place known as jannat where you can spend hours with your gang. The auditorium is very good, it feels like you are sitting in a cinema hall. The classrooms are big and the college has labs for every department. It even has a separate dark lab for performing optics practicals. The canteen is good and provides tasty food at cheap rates. There is also one large ground and a basketball court.
I did my bachelors in science from this college. The quality of teaching is good. The curriculum is also relevant to the field. Teachers here are very supportive and if you want to pursue your career in research or want to do masters in science, then I would definitely recommend you to be in touch with them.
I don't know much about the placements as B. Sc. students never sit for placements. But yes there is a placement cell with the name of "Ignite" that conducts regular placement drives for the students of commerce.
I paid around 20000 per year and yes it's worth the value that I received.
College campus is very great and is surrounded by greenery. Students can engage in many activities. There are societies for dance, music, photography, theatre, poetry, etc. which one can join. Our campus is situated at north camps and is very near to metro station.
The infrastructure of the college is very good. The college has all necessary equipment and facilities. Classrooms are very spacious and fully air-conditioned. It also has a large cricket ground, one big canteen, one library, one bank, one girl's hostel, and a fully air-conditioned auditorium. Apart from this, the college has a very beautiful place to hangout which is known as Jannat or Nukkad. Overall, I would say that Khalsa College has one of the best infrastructures of Delhi University.
I did my B. Sc. from Khalsa College. The teaching staff of the college is very knowledgeable. They support every student and are always there to help them. Teachers does not only provide knowledge of books but also provide practical knowledge to the students. The curriculum is also good and makes students ready in every aspect.
There is no placement for B. Sc. but for other courses, the placement record is good. The average package offered by the company is around 4-6 lakhs. The college also provides internship to its students. Few of the past recruiters are: TCS, Tech Mahindra, IBM, Wipro, etc.
As compared to other colleges of Delhi University, the fees is quite high but it is worth the facilities we get in the college. I paid around 18000 per year for my course.
Campus life is very good. The college is situated in North Campus and is at a walkable distance from Vishwavidhyala Metro Station. There are many societies to join and gain some experience. It also organises one of the best fests in Delhi University.
The college has everything that any college should have. It has one of the best libraries of Delhi University, the super large sports ground, and the best auditorium. The college literally has heaven at its center, known as "Jannat", a place worth spending your entire three years at! Some of the classrooms and laboratories are fully air-conditioned. The college also has its own botanical garden, a Gurudwara, two hostels, a canteen, and a branch of CCD!
I did my Bachelors of Science in Physical Sciences from this college. The quality of teaching was very good. The curriculum was well updated. All the teachers were highly supportive and were always ready to help. Even the non-teaching staff was very supportive.
Placements are pretty good. The name of the placement cell is Ignite. Ignite has been conducting on-campus placement drive since 2006. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Tech-Mahindra, IBM, Genpact, ICICI Prudential, EY, etc. have been few of the past recruiters.
Absolutely worth the money!
You will have your best college life here. You will get to enjoy the college fest Lashkara, DU elections, sports fest, other events organized by the societies of college and you will also get to witness the best plays of Ankur, which is the best theatre society of entire Delhi University. And being located in North campus, you will also get to enjoy college fests of other top colleges of DU such as Hindu, Miranda House, SRCC, Kirorimal, etc. I had my best college life here!
This college has a very good infrastructure with a big cricket ground having 2 girls hostels one is opposite to the college and another one is adjacent to the college. In this college, a place name Jannat is also situated where students do gossip, enjoy etc.Have very big auditorium with one seminar hall. This is a Sikh minority college so this also have Gurdwara.College canteen is amazing . All classes are occupied by Air conditioner.Overall good infrastructure.
I am studying Bsc maths hons. and the teachers of this college are amazing and helpful too.Have good Academic record .Students with 95% or above get admission in this college .Highest cutoff if this college has been a history i.e 97.4% for bsc electronics in 2017.
Right now, I didn't have too much knowledge about placements but I can give you some insights about placements i.e big companies like TCS,Wipro,Tech Mahindra ,IBM etc hire third year students on regular basis that means every year they recuirit from our college.
My course cost Rs.27,000 for one year . I think the fees is higher compared to other colleges.
Campus life of this college is somewhat different because one thing I noticed here is not too much diversity b/w students because 50% Sikh minority admission in this college. You will see most of the students as Sikh here which is a good thing but diversity lacks here b/w students.Other than this, overall this is a good college.
Overall Good college situated in North Campus , Delhi University .Have good annual fest management .Crows is also fine .
Our college has a good infrastructure. The classes are spacious and provided with ac. The canteen is good too. It has a very large ground. The library is well maintained . The living spaces are clean and the food is hygienic.
I am a student of BSc and well we have quite good teachers. The teachers actually take classes and pay attention unlike other colleges that i have heard of. We are always motivated for learning more and we have a good faculty.
I do not think we have good placement for science students in our college . I have never heard of any placements taking place for the science students . I dont even think any of our seniors actually got a job after graduation.
Even the fee rose this year considerably I think it is just fine because of the facilities we get that includes the labs the faculty the infrastructure of the college and the fact that the ac in our room actually work
Our college has good socities to join that make the campus life memorable . Well the teachers are not very supportive because they think anything other than studying could be a waste of time . But being a part of any society actually helps in personality development
College has all the necessary equipments which are required and various facilities like lift, AC, projector are also available. Classrooms are air conditioned. College also has girl's hostel. Its library is well known and famous with MATA GUJRI DEVI LIBRARY with around 2000+ books. Floors are well cleaned with a proper maintenance.
As I am a student of science stream (Chemistry Hons). I can say that teachers and their way of teaching is brilliant. Their helping and friendly nature always encourage students to ask questions freely without hesitation. Teachers are highly experienced so that they are always up to date in their subjects.
As per my view, college does not has a good placement. Even so, there is a placement cell in my stream. But i don't think so that students will get a good placement as they want direct from the college.
Fees is a little bit high from other DU colleges and recently last year, amount again raised. This thing disappoint each and every student. Despite all the facilities, still increment in fees should not be hapened.
Campus Life is outstanding. You will get a new and amazing exposure in North campus , Delhi University. This is an opportunity to you to meet different people and improve your skills. As all are students in campus. So, it is completely safe and all the necessary services like market, hospital, police station are near by.
College classrooms have air conditioning. Wifi is available for students. Healthy and delicious food in canteen. College is reputed for its sports. In campus hostel is also available. Currently there is a girl's hostel and the boys hostel is under construction. The campus in terms of size is huge. There's a huge playground in the campus.
College being in the north campus has good professors. And the college is well known for courses in science stream. Usually the professors are PHD. Many teachers use modern methods of technology to teach in classroom such as projectors.
Good placements are offered. There is a separate placement cell for students which brings several internships for students throughout the year. Students take a lot of benifit from this. The placement process is very pleasant. Reputed companies are present at the time of placement.
The fees I paid was around 25000 for a year. It is higher than other DU colleges but I think its because of air conditioned classrooms.
As far as location is concerned, this is the first college as soon as one enters north campus. It is at walking distance from the metro station. All the students and teachers of the college are welcoming. If a student visits this college from another college then they will feel themselves as a part of the family. You'll always find fun loving people around in the campus.
When compared to SRCC, Hindu, Stephen's or miranda, the typical red walls might not be present in this college. But when u compare the crowd of these colleges to SGTB Khalsa College, it is unmatchable. Because the crowd here is lively, and it is a happening place. The crowd in the other colleges is kind of dead.
Being a part of central university, infrastructure is very good. Classrooms are well equipped and air conditioned. Labs with required equipments and library with many thousand books are maintained. Infrastructure of the college also includes many buildings as well as a big lush green ground for co-curricular activities. The campus has a good canteen and both are hygienic & clean. The management is also under work to provide wifi to every student and teacher all over the campus.
I am currently pursuing Bcom(program) from this college. The faculty of the college is quite good and understanding. Teachers here anticipate the problem of students, if any and always help them. The curriculum is also improved following the changes in curriculum of Delhi University. Any college cannot teach subjects which make students job ready and same is case of above college but we are provided thorough theoretical knowledge & practical opportunities that makes us job ready till we graduate
The placements in our college has been increasing over the years and stands at a little above average today. Placement cell of the college maintain all the works related to placements and is also among top 7 placement cells in Delhi University. The Average package now stands at approx 6 LPA. And the placement rate is around 60%.
As i am pursuing Bcom in SGTB Khalsa College, its annual fees is around 28000 INR. The fees in this college is a quite high if compared to the fees of same course in other colleges of Delhi University because of it being a semi government organisation. But the fees is still less than various other big private and govt. colleges and is worth giving here.
College campus is quite good. The crowd here is very friendly. The focus here on the extra curricular development of students is better than any other north campus college of Delhi University. It is totally safe and sound for everyone.
I would like to share that my initial days in this college were a little hard as all new college students have but in few days after i made many friends and felt happy there.
The college has all the required facilities needed by the students starting from the water filters to classroom which are air conditioned. There are different labs for the chemistry ,physics well as biology students. college also has a botanical garden for the students of botany. The college has a three storey library which has sitting space for the blind students as well as the normal students. There is no Wi-Fi in the college as such which can be used by the students.
I am currently studying political science honours the quality of teaching in the college is really good. The professors arey helpful. Search provide us with regular notes and also updated about the current situation of the country and of the world as a whole. The faculty members also talk about internships that one can do and they also talk about the various places that we can visit and increase the horizon of a knowledge. They guide us with career options. They also give us moral support.
The placement of the college is good as the college has its own placement cell to look after the placement of the students. The placement of every department differs. The best placement is found in the commerce department.
The fee structure of my colleges around 20000 year I think it has a value for money because of the facilities students are provided with. The college provides you with a lot of exposure. A lot of activities are held here by various clubs and departments so that one can participate and enhance themselves.
The campus life of the college is very good because the college faculty takes discipline very seriously ,students are well behaved and any misconduct if conducted by any student is taken seriously, the teachers the support staff are really very supportive. The best places of the college include the Jannat area and college canteen ,for the sports person it's the basketball ground and the main ground, what is missing in the college is a lack of sitting area in public spaces otherwise it's all good.
Overall if I speak of my experience I have experienced a lot of good things at college. The college is not very popular for its studies but the faculty was better than expected, the club the societies very functional and the presidents and other students of the society they help each other grow. The chole bhature of the college canteen is absolutely delicacy.
Hello aspirant
Gargi College has been an amazing college and ranked 16th in the NIRF 2021 ranking in the college category and it was ranked 16th in the NIRF 2020 college ranking. The college has been granted the Star College status by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India consecutively for 9 years.
sgtb college is also an excellent college with a credit in NAAC established in 1951 with 15 acres campus . it's a tough call to choose one of the college among these two .

Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College, New Delhi, will be the best option among the Gargi, ARSD, and Khalsa College if the distance is not the parameter.
SGTB Khalsa College is the oldest college with the best infrastructure and phenomenal teaching faculty. Every facility is available in this college.
For Maths Hons, I suggest you prefer SGTB Khalsa over other colleges; else, ARSD is not a bad option.

Hi.
OBC Students are allowed under General Category students in SGTB Khalsa, Delhi. This is so because the college does not cover OBC Category under Reserved Category and has allotted Categories to Sikh Minority, PwD, EWS and Kashmiri Migrant. The reservation category seats and the categories that benefit from this it is an internal and private matter for the institute administration and may or may not be revealed.
Good Luck
