Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Thiruvananthapuram.


Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates who passed in Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or equivalent, with Physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects & Chemistry as one of the optional subjects with 45% marks are eligible for admission.
  • If a candidate has not studied Chemistry, the marks of Computer Science will be considered.
  • If a candidate has not studied Chemistry & Computer Science the marks of Biotechnology will be considered.
  • In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, Computer Science, or biotechnology the marks of Biology will be considered.
  • For SC/ST/SEBC & PwD quota candidates, the minimum marks required for admission shall be 5% less than that of the general category.
