Vaageswari Engineering College (VEC), Karimnagar, and this institution is a pioneer of respect in education offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs in engineering and management. Admission processing of the college is very well organized and purely merit-based, on the criteria which depend purely upon the outcome of the state-level entrance examinations. Usually, the admission cycle initiates around May-Jun for the academic calendar starting in August-September. Application procedures for each of the programs at VEC are dependent upon the outcome of one of the state-level entrance examinations. For undergraduate engineering programs, most candidates are admitted following scores from the Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture & Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) carried out by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education. For B.Tech, the eligible students for admission will be those who have done 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects and selected as per TS EAMCET rank. 

Three-year diploma students can also apply through Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS ECET). Admittance into MBA and MCA programs highly considers candidates' scores obtained from taking the Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test, (TSICET). M.Tech admissions can be specific to the branches or programs in which a student wishes to specialize. For B.Tech programs:

Admission Process Degree Wise

B.tech: Programs offered in B.Tech at VEC include Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Admissions are conducted via TS EAMCET ranks. In total, the college can accommodate 660 students through these branches.

MBA: The admissions into MBA programs at VEC are made on the respective scores attained in TSICET examination. This program is taken up with a total of 60 seats available for entry.

MCA: MCA admissions are based on the score achieved in TSICET examination. The intake capacity for the program is 60.

M.Tech: Different M.Tech programs offered by VEC currently include Computer Science and Engineering, CAD CAM, VLSI and Embedded System, Power Electronics, and Electronics and Communication Engineering. The admission for specialization may take GATE completion or any other entrance test to be administered by the Institute. Each specialization can take 18-36 seats.

Diploma Courses: VEC conducts diploma level courses in Mechanical, Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, and Civil Engineering. Each program has an intake of 60 seats and the selection process for these would differ from the other courses.
