Hello,

The board exams have different cutoff and that is in marks. Board doesn't give ranks as range. College give rank range for their different branches to give a organised way to do the admission of candidates with respect to the branches. In no way college categorical rank cutoff is related to the board Common rank list. Both are different. It may be a coincidence if the cutoff had been same.

Hope it helps!

Hi Nimish,

VJTI is one of the renowned colleges in Maharashtra for Engineering. SPIT has been established since 2005 and is just like a brother to SPCE. Both of these colleges would add weight to your profile in the future.

But now the catch is that you are getting textile at VJTI. Textile will narrow down your scope to a single field. So, look for scope of textile in future, and placement profiles provided by VJTI for this branch. Now, coming to vidyalankar, it a decent college.

If you want to pursue further studies abroad then it would not matter to complete engineering from here. CSE has already taken a paradigm shift and is continuing to do so. Look for future options in this field.

Given the automation and robotics evolvement, Electronics could also be a good field. You can always switch to IT form Electronics during jobs.

If you are looking for placements immediately after graduation look for a good college, otherwise you can go with the other options as far as the branch is concerned.

So the decision should be yours, which field are you really interested in.

Hope this is Helpful.

Hi,

I would suggest you go through the last year cutoffs of all the rounds of CAP Process on the following link.

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/mht-cet-cutoff (For all rounds)

Make sure you look for proper cutoffs according to Quota (PWD)

Already first round is over. Now you can have a look at current vacant seats if any and hence know the chances of getting VJTI.

Hi Abhijay,

The colleges which you have mentioned are all top colleges for pursuing engineering. Every college is well established and is capable of providing great placements.

Now you will have to decide which branch to go for. I would suggest you carry out research on the opportunities & scope in the future of your respective branches of engineering and then go for admissions. All are evolving fields, i.e. Electrical vehicles are taking a leap, then we have AI & machine learning in the field of Computers. and automation for Electronics.

So in my suggestion, you decide which branch to go for based on your interest and comfort of subject familiarization.

All the Best!!

Hi Srikanth,

I would suggest you go through the last year cutoffs of all the rounds of CAP Process on the following link.

Make sure you look for proper cutoffs according to Quota (General-G, L-Ladies, TFWS, etc), category (Open, OBC, SC, ST, etc) and home or other university.

Already first round is over. Now you can have a look at current vacant seats if any and hence know the chances of getting VJTI.

Hi Pranaya,

The cutoffs for DSE Civil at VJTI are above 87% for any caste.

And also no other branches at VJTI have cutoffs in this range.

Hence looking at your diploma percentage, it looks difficult to secure admission at VJTI.

You can look for other colleges to secure admission to degree courses.

All the Best!!

Make sure you look for proper cutoffs according to Quota (General-G, L-Ladies, TFWS, etc), category (Open, OBC, SC, ST, etc) and home or other university.

It would be easy if you go according to the marks obtained to look for cutoffs.

Best of Luck!

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is good enough not that great but it contains every essential component. The college classes are now fitted with acs and some with projectors too. There are labs with non working components so it is one cons. Overall its ok. The hostel now are renovated so has good condition and capacity.

Save campus with great facilities

College Infrastructure

Good Facilities are available in my Deportment. A decent atmosphere to study is also available. The infrastructure could be a little bit better because the quality of the furniture is not good. There are enough screens and a projector set up for e-learning also.

Balanced academics, and extra curricular activities

Verified Review

College Infrastructure

Since the college is over 100 years old, the infrastructure is not a strong point of the college, with CS, Textile, and IT departments being an exception. Yes, VJTI does provide hostel facilities for students, although not all students get the hostels. There are 2 hostels for B.Tech and Diploma, for both boys and girls. In addition, there is 1 hostel for M.Tech students. The M.Tech hostels are amazing, with facilities like geysers, cleaner washrooms, balconies, and lifts.
