hi,

you can get admission in vjti mumbai either in jee main exam score or by mahacet exam score. if you have apply for only jee main exam then you are also eligible for the counselling process for vjti mumbai.

hope you may understand.

Hello Akhil,

Yes, you can get admission in VJTI, Mumbai as 85% seats are reserved for local candidates and rest 15% seats are for non-local candidates.

For that you need to fullfil the eligibility criteria as you have not mentioned which course you wanted to do but still have a look at eligibility criteria for various courses:

  • A candidate must have atleast scored 50% (unreserved) in case of SC/ST/OBC/PWD 45% in 10+2 or it's equivalent from a recognised board and must have appeared in MAH-CET and qualify in it to get admission in B.tech
  • A candidate must have scored atleast 50% aggregate in degree and must have appeared for GATE to get admission in M.tech
  • A candidate must have Passed in degree from a recognised university to get admission in MCA.

I hope this is helpful to you.

Of course VEERMATA JIJABAI TECHNICAL INSTITUTE ie VJTI only is the best state government engineering college in Mumbai after IIT. It's a very well known college which has great placement opportunities and almost 100% placements possible. SPIT is also another great GOVERNMENT college but it doesn't has CS branch in it if you want to pursue CS which is the most upcoming branch. If you getting CS in VJTI then it's the best scenario, and if any other engineering like electrical, mechanical or civil, etc then any of these 2 government colleges of Mumbai will do.

Best wishes. Thankyoj.

Hello aspirant!

JEE Mains is a very prestigious exam that allows you to take admission in the best government institutions like NIT, IIIT, GFTI and some private colleges. This will be the best option for you. Other exams are the state engineering examinations that give you admission in the best state government colleges. I hope this information was helpful!

I wish you all the very best!

hello!! since you are exploring ur Career in ECE branch

here is some important points u need to keep in mind

1. most of the placements in engg colleges in our country goes into CSE field so most of the other branch students come forward from thier repective branches and get placed in typical software line

2. VJTI ECE  is a good platform for exploring your skills  as you will be favoured to complete 3-4 core branch projects during the course there

but dont expect a really highly qualified teachers from the field there ,but the crowd there is good and will help you to push yourself to work hard

3. IIIT Jabalpur has its fasciniting IIITian tag with it and surely here you will be getting way better crowd and teachers , nevertheless its on you which everything depends. but with the aid of great platform like IIIT you can expect better placements as compared to VJTI  .

also be aware of the fact that ECE branch students have the luxury for applying in Govt. Jobs through IES Examination which certainely other branch doesn't have ,so u can look forward to it also !

hope this will help you to get a clear idea of what you want now !!

best of luck

Hi Candidate,

I suggest you to prefer Sardar Patel institute of Technology over VJIT Mumbai. It has a good rating of 4.1/5. Coming to plcements the college has a record of 100% placements especially in CSE in IT departments. There are average placements for core branches. The highest packsge is offered is 39 lakhs LPA by microsoft. All the best

Dear,

In order to get VJTI through MHCET you can give mhcet in pcm or pcmb. Both are considered. Now, if you are planning engg I would suggest just take pcm because pcmb would cost you 4 subjects and its kindof burden to students. If you think you can handle all subjects go for it. But talking about your question you can take anything between pcm or pcmb.

Hope this helps! Good luck!

Hello...

Ya you can get admission for B.E in textile manufacturing after doing diploma at VJTI. So don't worry about it.

After doing diploma you are directly eligible to lateral entry. For better details you can confirm this with your college.

So for further queries feel free to comment.

Hello Punjabi,

As you have secured 97.24 percentile in the MHTCET examination and you secured Ews rank in the 358 . You have chances in the getting seat in the vjti college in your preferred branch

As per the analysis you can secure seat in the you preferred college

All the best

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is good enough not that great but it contains every essential component. The college classes are now fitted with acs and some with projectors too. There are labs with non working components so it is one cons. Overall its ok. The hostel now are renovated so has good condition and capacity.

Save campus with great facilities

College Infrastructure

Good Facilities are available in my Deportment. A decent atmosphere to study is also available. The infrastructure could be a little bit better because the quality of the furniture is not good. There are enough screens and a projector set up for e-learning also.

Balanced academics, and extra curricular activities

Verified Review

College Infrastructure

Since the college is over 100 years old, the infrastructure is not a strong point of the college, with CS, Textile, and IT departments being an exception. Yes, VJTI does provide hostel facilities for students, although not all students get the hostels. There are 2 hostels for B.Tech and Diploma, for both boys and girls. In addition, there is 1 hostel for M.Tech students. The M.Tech hostels are amazing, with facilities like geysers, cleaner washrooms, balconies, and lifts.
