Research both the streams, if you do not know much about what they have to offer in the way of learning, challenges, opportunities and your liking and interests.That should help you decide. Both are good institutes, and as long as you can take the call on the stream, choosing one over the other should not affect you adversely in career and life.

Hello akshansh

With your mentioned rank it is highly unlikely for you to get into NITs or IIITs or gfti. You could still apply for the josaa counselling process and try your luck. But I would suggest you to try for state level engineering colleges which accept JEE main scores. You could get good colleges and your desired branch. Hi Maryam!!! Based on recent year's cutoff you may not get cse in the mentioned college. Although you may get textile technology in the same college.

I got 102 marks Can I get IT engineering In your college(open)

I am sorry but with 102 marks, Veermata jijabai technological Institute is not possible atleast for open category student in any of the CAP rounds. The first round closes at about 170 marks. It is not possible for it to drop to 102. You could try for other colleges in Maharashtra, surely you can get a college.

I got 121 Marks in mhtcet 2019 (checked from the answer key released) can I get vjti Mumbai ?

Congratulations if you are excepting 121 marks in MHTCET examination in 2019 .From 121 marks you can get only textile engineering in Vjti if your excepting computer science and electronics engineering then your score is not enough to get these branches in Vjti you can score 170 marks in Mhtcet

Can I get VJTI mechanical engineering for 173 marks in MHT CET 2019 held on 3rd May 2nd shift?

Hi prajval, congrats on the amazing score. To answer your query, yes you can get VJTI mechanical in the first round itself. Last year the cutoff for VJTI mechanical was 169 marks in the first cap round. So, you can be optimistic about getting into VJTI in the first round itself. Still if cutoffs rise, you can definitely get it in second round too. So hope for the best. Congrats and all the best for your future.

Congratulations for the score! I just checked the online rank predictors and your expected rank would be around in the range of 5274 to 5650. That is surely a decent rank. I checked online on varios sites the cutoffs of 2018 mhcet for VJTI with the scores. I am sorry but it is really tough to get Mechanical at VJTI with this score. The Round 4 of Mechanical at VJTI closed at 161 marks and a rank of 1046. So it is pretty hard when we see this data.

Don't be disheartened at this. You can also look for another branch at the same college or you might see a different college altogether!

College Infrastructure

The facilities and infrastructure available for the course/department, such as Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library, are very Good . The quality of the facilities in the hostel, the quality of the food available in the mess and canteen, the medical facilities, and the sports and games are all very Good .

College Infrastructure

The classrooms are decent enough, with wooden benches, projector and AC's. Wi-Fi works in some classes and doesn't in others. The library is too good. It has all the books that you will ever need. It even has good Wi-Fi. You can be in the library for a whole day without feeling bored. The mess has okayish food—not that great. The canteen has better food than the mess. There's a cricket ground, a football ground and a basketball court as well, which is really good.

College Infrastructure

College has a very good infrastructure, however, the infrastructure is now old and there are efforts being put to renovate the college. Labs are a bit outdated, but the college is bringing in new facilities. The hostels are also undergoing changes and the new PG hostel has super good facilities.
