Hey Saurabh! Congratulations on securing great marks in boards and also a great percentile score. You can use the following link in order to predict the college you can get into.
Following is the link - https://www.careers360.com/mht-cet-college-predictor?icn=MAHA__CET_clgpd&ici=MAHA__CET_article_view_sticky
Further on you can decide which college you would like to opt because Computer Science is a very common branch available in all the colleges mostly.

Hello Pranali,

Congratulations on your marks!

If you belong to OBC or SC category there are some chances that you will get admission at Veer Jijamta Technological Institute, Mumbai. If you belong to open category there are very less chances that you will get VJTI. In such a case, try applying for more colleges.

You can also use college predictor(which predicts colleges based on your marks/rank): https://www.careers360.com/mht-cet-college-predictor

Good Luck!

Hope it helps you.

For any further queries please feel free to comment.

Thank you.

In VJIT the last year cutoff for textile branch was 5210 merit rank and 133 marks. So match the rank of yours and if it falls in the range given than you can get the admission in VJIT through MHTCET. If you have any further doubt then ask in the comment box we would like to look forward to help you. So I would suggest you to go through the counselling rounds and you will get the admission as you have scored a good marks.

Hi Nikhil,

Getting admission in VJTI Mumbai will depend on your rank and marks in the MHT CET examination.

I can provide you the cutoff for the General category candidates for all branches you have asked for from which you can get an idea.

In 2016, after last round-

CSE- 103 (Cutoff Rank) and 187 (Cutoff marks)

ECE- 1116 (Cutoff Rank) and 168 (Cutoff marks)

IT- 292 (Cutoff Rank) and 181 (Cutoff marks)

In 2017, after last round-

CSE- 206 (Cutoff Rank) and 176 (Cutoff marks)

ECE- 914 (Cutoff Rank) and 163 (Cutoff marks)

IT- 481 (Cutoff Rank) and 169 (Cutoff marks)

In 2018, after last round-

CSE- 130 (Cutoff Rank) and 178 (Cutoff marks)

ECE- 986 (Cutoff Rank) and 162 (Cutoff marks)

IT- 326 (Cutoff Rank) and 172 (Cutoff marks)

So, if you have scored 160+ in MHT CET, you have a decent chance of selection in any one of these branches.

Hope this helps you.

Hi Maryam,

Moving on to your question,

Getting admission in VJTI Mumbai will completely depend on your marks and your rank in the MHT CET examination.

I can provide you the cutoff for CSE branch in VJTI for obc category candidates of previous years from which you can get an idea about your selection.

In 2016, after last round-

Cutoff Rank- 881 and Cutoff score- 171

In 2017, after last round-

Cutoff Rank- 1233 and Cutoff score- 159

All the best!!!

What is you caste?
If you are OPEN then NO you won't get VJTI.

hello hussein,

the VJTI -college of engineering is one of the most famous college in your state the rank cut off for the VJTI is very tough

so according to your percentile it seems you can secure a seat of mechanical engineering in the VJTI if you are under reservation of 0BC/SC/ST category you can easliy secure seat if you under above reservation

if you are from general category it will seem to be some difficult to get in

Hi gaurav,
For admission in vjti in electrical branch , you need about 164 marks. With 97.38 percentile, it would be difficult to get this seat.
Other branches you can get are civil engineering , production engineering and textile technology.
Best of Luck!!
