VIT is One of the top engineering Private college of India . It has been ranked 14 in nirf . Though Getting in vit in category is though to do CSE in category 1. But If you have Less marks then also you can VIT. There are 5 category so. If you have low category you will definately get a seat.

VIT vellore is a private Deemed to be university which is provided NAAC A++. BSc Mathematics and computing is not an elaborative Mathematics only degree. Its a course where you will be taught the applied mathematics and corresponding computing theories which are used to apply Mathematics and solve real life problems. BSc Hons. in Mathematics, is a course which deals only with the mathematics. Its a elaborative course on both the applied and pure mathematics concepts and is induced for those who are interested to go for higher research in the subject, or want to learn mathematics in depth.

** Mathematics and Computing course have good exposure to industries where as BSc Hons. mathematics mostly focuses on the research purposes.

No you have very less chances of getting into VIT Chennai. You should try for VIT Bhopal.

VIT is one of the top private colleges in Indian which offers several courses .There are limited seat for MCA in vit campus there are around 160 seat in Vellore campus ,60 for Chennai ,and 210 for bhopal campus . The safe rank to vit campus is to rank under 250 .

With your rank it difficult to get vit campus for MCA .but till last counselling in all campuses .

I am hoping that you are absolutely fine. As per your mentioned query , I would like to tell you that Vit vellore are not accepting the jee mains  marks for the admission . As per the guidelines of the college, candidates have to give the VITEEE entrance exam for the admission in undergraduate programmes. For Pg course like Mtech , it accepts the GATE scores. So , unfortunately your jee mains score would not be considered for the admission in Vit Vellore.

The placement companies are open for all the stream and programs in VIT. So apparently the companies visiting for the Software Engineering or CSE background, then MCA graduates are also eligible for those. Apart from that, most of the companies that visits for the BTech Engineers also hires MCA graduates, so you have nothing to worry about it and you can appear for placements under different companies.

As far as I have heard, VIT Vellore mostly goes upto 450-500 rank, then VIT Chennai starts. So, you have less chances to get any seat in vellore capmus, but you can seat in VIT Chennai.

Vit( vellore Institute of technology ) University is one of most popular private University in India. This college have very good placement record and also it come among top Ranking college in India . Vit have it's own Entrance exam to taken admission in several courses. VIT recognized by Prestigious National Ranking as well as International Ranking  as  QS Ranking  and time higher education Ranking.

The dee for the BTech or b.tech cse is depend upon your Entrance exam, or Counselling  students  divide in category

Category 1 candidate with good rank and low fee and followed by category 2  ,category 3 and category 4 where least rank students group.

Category 1       1.98 lakh per annum

Category 2        3.07 lakh per annum

Category 3       4.10 lakh per annum

Category 4       4.95 lakh per annum

So total fee for each category will be different.

Yes why shouldn't they be. You need your phone to communicate and other work .

You can carry your phone inside VIT campus but you have to be careful using your phone inside library or during classes is strictly prohibited.

College Infrastructure

Our college has pretty solid infrastructure. The classrooms are spacious and have projectors. Labs are well equipped with the latest tools, especially in the computer and electronics departments. The library is really good has a wide range of books and enough space to study quietly. Wi-Fi is available across the campus and it's reliable most of the time. Sports facilities are decent with a basketball court, football ground, and indoor games area. The hostels are clean, and maintenance staff are usually quick to respond. The mess food is okay, not great, but hygienic. Overall, it’s a comfortable place to study and live.

Giving the review was quite a good experience.

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is really good. People with interest can easily learn new skills, get into new projects and get well versed in various tech skills. It is really a great place to start or boost ones knowledge. The infrastructure the college provides meets the International standards.
