The campus infrastructure is straight-up elite. For a day scholar, the air-conditioned central library is a sanctuary between classes where I can lock in for focused study sessions. The Central Block (CB) is massive and feels very "tech-forward," which is unusual for a business school but helpful for our Fintech and Analytics modules. While the commute from Vijayawada or Guntur can be a bit of a trek, the university's bus service is fairly reliable and gives me some extra time to review my notes before a big CAT (Continuous Assessment Test).
Academics at the VIT-AP School of Business (VSB) are anything but "regular." I scheduled my classes in tight blocks to avoid staying on campus until late evening. The relative grading system is intense; to get that 9.6, I had to stay well above the class average in subjects like Financial Accounting and Principles of Management. The STEM-integrated curriculum keeps things practical, so we're learning how to actually use data in business rather than just memorising theory
Even in my first year, the "Placement Vibe" is everywhere. Scoring a 9.6 GPA puts me in the "Super Dream" bracket early on, which is essential since companies like Microsoft and Amazon look for that consistency. The Career Development Centre (CDC) already has us working on soft skills and aptitude. Seeing the 2026 batch hit a highest package of ₹96.26 LPA is incredibly motivating; it proves that if you keep your CGPA above 9, the biggest "Marquee" offers are practically waiting for you.
Being a day scholar means I miss the late-night hostel chaos, but I still get my share of the action during the day. The Student Activity Center (SAC) is the spot to hang out, and fests like VITopia are an absolute blast with a "high-energy" crowd. With over 70+ student clubs, I've found it easy to network with seniors who give me the "real tea" on which professors are best for . Even without staying in the hostel, the campus feels inclusive and busy, though the commute means I have to be very disciplined with my time.
,The academic blocks are really good.wirh all facilities but as a hostler ,The ladies' hostel blocks (like LH-1 and LH-2) are quite modern, featuring high-rise buildings with solid views of the developing campus. You can choose between AC and non-AC rooms, ranging from 2-bedded to 6-bedded options, with apartment-style rooms often including a fridge and microwave for more comfort. While the rooms are cleaned daily, the shared washrooms in some blocks can get a bit crowded during the morning rush.
The academics can feel like a marathon. Classes are interactive, but the relative grading means you're always competing with your besties for that 'S' grade. As a girl hosteler, you have easy access to the labs and faculty cabins in the Central Block (CB), which is a huge plus when project deadlines are near
the placement scene is extremely competitive but totally worth the hustle, especially if you're targeting tech giants like Microsoft or Amazon. Being a hosteler means you never miss a CDC training session, and the peer support in the girls' wings is unmatched—you'll find groups dedicated just to DSA and mock interviews. With the highest package hitting over ₹96 LPA, the university really pushes us to stay in the 9-pointer bracket to unlock the best "Super Dream" opportunities.
Life on campus is very safe but also has strict rules—the biometric attendance and 7:30 PM in-time for girls are non-negotiable. However, the Student Activity Center (SAC) is a great hangout spot with a gym, beauty salon, and indoor games to unwind. The food court and night canteens are our saviours for late-night cravings when mess food doesn't hit the spot. Annual fests like VITopia and VTAPP bring the whole campus to life, making all that discipline feel like part of the larger experience.
It's a secure environment where you're surrounded by high achievers, and the "VIT brand" really helps during internship and placement drives. While you might miss the freedom of a city college, the friendships made during late-night study sessions and the exposure to diverse cultures make it a memorable, transformative journey toward your professional goals.
The campus has a modern, "five-star hotel" vibe, featuring high-speed Wi-Fi and the massive Central Block (CB), which is one of the largest academic buildings in India. For day scholars, the fully air-conditioned central library is a lifesaver, offering quiet discussion rooms and digital resources that are perfect for staying back to code or study. While labs are state-of-the-art with AC and the latest equipment, be prepared for some summer heat as common classrooms generally only have fans
The curriculum under the VIT-AP School of Business (VSB) follows a STEM-based management approach, which is unique because it includes introductory Science and Engineering subjects alongside core business modules. While BBA students sometimes have a more fixed schedule compared to B.Tech students to ensure core management foundations are met, the Fully Flexible Credit System (FFCS) still offers chances to choose preferred faculty and time slots for various electives. The teaching pedagogy is highly interactive, moving away from just textbooks to include case studies, simulation games, and role-plays that prepare us for real-world decision-making
Placements are the primary focus here, and the centralized Career Development Centre (CDC) gives us access to the same big names as the Vellore campus. In the 2026 drive, the highest package reached ₹96.26 LPA, with major recruiters like Microsoft, Amazon, and TCS visiting. To land "Super Dream" offers (above ₹10 LPA), maintaining a CGPA above 8.0 or 9.0 is often a strict filter. The university starts grooming us early with mandatory soft skills and coding chapters from the first semester.
Overall, VIT-AP is a high-pressure but rewarding environment that prioritizes career readiness over everything else. The brand value of VIT provides a significant edge in the job market, provided you are willing to work hard to stay in the top CGPA bracket. It is a modern, fast-growing university that offers excellent exposure and facilities, making the long commute for a day scholar worth the investment in your future career.
The campus is great with its facilities Sleek AC classrooms with smart boards/projectors, analytics labs (Google tools/VR), 3-floor library (50k+ books, 24/7 exam access), FIFA football field, gym, courts, EV parking. Clean canteens (₹50-150 meals), solar-powered green campus. Wi-Fi lags in peaks, but day-scholar shuttles/parking rock. Built for efficiency
Iam pursuing bba course here .Very strict attendance rules (unless you maintain >9 CGPA), high academic pressure, and mediocre food quality. Mix of helpful and highly knowledgeable faculty, though some can be strict with grading.Projects and practical learning are part of the curriculum, which help us to gain more knowledge
In vit ap the students have 85-90% rate of getting placements, ₹6-8LPA avg (high ₹20L+ Deloitte/EY/Amazon). Strong placements similar to the main VIT campus, with mass recruiters like TCS and Infosys, plus higher-tier opportunities for top performers.CDC: aptitude/mocks from sem2. We have Mandatory internships ,Competition is pretty tough (7+ cgpa would save uh from going back .
In summer and even in other seasons there is Hot climate, and it’s located a bit far from the main city, but transport is available.Great diversity with students from all over, fostering a vibrant social life
If you are focused on placements and don't mind a strict academic environment, VIT-AP is a solid choice.
The college has good infrastructure. Classrooms are neat and have smartboards which makes learning easy. There are also many places to sit and relax, which I personally like a lot because I don’t stay in hostel.we find classrooms while we are free without classes , but in Summer we might suffer because of excess heat and non AC class rooms
I am studying BBA first year, and the faculty is friendly and explains topics in a simple way. The syllabus is updated and not too stressful. We get enough time to understand things properly.we get opportunities even , we can also participate in special quizes and gain rewards from winning them
Around 80–90% of students get placed overall. 150+ companies visit campus regularly. Average package is around ₹7 LPA (can vary between ₹6–9 LPA) but it depends mostly on our hardwork too it may vary according to the personal skills and extra curricular activities of the student
Overall, my experience is good till now. It’s not too stressful and suits day scholars well. You get time for both studies and relaxation
Moving from home to the hostel was a huge change, but the girls' hostel here is actually quite "aesthetic" and safe. The rooms are clean, and the hygiene is 10/10. Since I don’t play sports, my main workout is walking from the hostel to the academic blocks! My absolute favorite spot is the Food Street. It’s the perfect place to "vibe" with my girl gang after a long day of classes. We grab snacks, listen to music, and just de-stress. The campus has so much greenery that it’s actually a great place for taking photos for the 'gram.
As a BBA student, our schedule is pretty much "sorted" since we don't have to deal with the FFCS rush. Our classes are in the new buildings which are super "chill" (literally, the AC is great). The faculty members are very sweet and positive. They treat us like adults and are always ready to help if we get stuck. I managed to score an good GPA in my first semester because the teaching style is very practical and doesn't feel like a burden. It’s more about understanding business than just memorizing books.
Even though it's only my first year, the college keeps us "hyped" about placements. We get to see all the big companies coming to the campus for the seniors. Since VIT-AP is a big brand, I feel very secure knowing that I’ll have great opportunities in my third year. The college holds a lot of workshops for us to improve our confidence and speaking skills, which is a big plus for business students.
It’s a solid 4-star experience. It’s a "home away from home" where you can study hard and still have a great social life
The campus is modern, spacious, and designed with a futuristic layout. Academic blocks are well-structured with smart classrooms, proper ventilation, and good lighting. The campus is still developing, but already offers a clean and organized environment with greenery and open spaces.
The academics for BBA at VIT-AP University are well-structured and industry-oriented. The curriculum is designed to cover both theoretical concepts and practical knowledge, helping students build a strong foundation in business, management, finance, and marketing. The university follows a flexible credit system, allowing students to choose subjects and even faculty, which makes learning more personalized and effective.
The placement opportunities for BBA students at VIT-AP University are fairly good and improving year by year. A significant percentage of students—around 70% to 85%—get placed, depending on performance and skills. The average package for BBA students is usually around ₹5–7 LPA, while top performers can get higher packages. In some cases, the highest packages have gone much higher (though often influenced by overall university placements)
As a first-year girl hosteller at VIT-AP University, my experience has been balanced and positive so far. The infrastructure feels modern with spacious academic blocks, digital classrooms, Wi-Fi enabled campus, labs, library, sports areas, and separate secure girls’ hostels with wardens and 24/7 security. Rooms include basic furniture like cot, chair, study table, and cupboard. Since the campus is still growing, some areas continue to develop, but the available facilities are good for student life.
Academics are structured and disciplined. The curriculum is updated, attendance matters, and there is continuous evaluation through quizzes, CAT exams, labs, assignments, and projects. Faculty quality is mixed like most universities—some professors are excellent and supportive, while some require more self-study from students. For sincere students, learning opportunities are strong
Placements are one of the reasons many students choose VIT-AP. The university has a Career Development Centre and placement support linked with the VIT brand network. Reports mention many recruiters and hundreds of offers in recent years. For first-year students, seniors often say skills, coding practice, communication, and CGPA matter a lot. Strong opportunities exist especially for CSE-related branches, but competition is high
Value for money depends on the course and fee category. For students getting lower fee categories, the mix of infrastructure, brand name, campus life, and placement chances makes it worthwhile. If paying higher fees, students should fully use internships, clubs, networking, and placements to justify the cost
Campus life as a hosteller is active and enjoyable. Students come from many states, so it feels diverse. There are clubs, events, fests, sports, celebrations, and common spaces to socialize. Hostel life teaches independence and time management. Girls’ hostel security and supervision make parents feel safer. Mess food is manageable, though taste and variety can vary.
overall it is a great experience in hostel and also in the college
the college is really well , the hostels are clean and maintained well with all facilities provided for hostlers , we have laundry facilities and good mess with three sections veg, nonveg and special mess ,the clg atmosphere is really good where the three blocks are pleasant and peaceful with it's ambiance and greenery, all classrooms are good but it lacks ac facility
im pursuing bba honors in vit ap university, where I got to here about the course from careers 360 also then after experiencing a year as a bba student I can say that the curriculum for bba is upto date and it changes to adopt for current market trends .
Placements are decent, with many companies visiting for internships and jobs. Students who maintain skills and CGPA get better chances. More core companies can improve opportunities. The avg lpa for bba would range between 3-4lpa and highest goes to around 12lpa for ug bba
Campus life is enjoyable with many clubs, fests, cultural events, and students from different states. Hostel life helps in making friends and learning independence. Food variety can be better sometimes.
There are so many cool things to do on campus. My favorite spot is the Food Street—it’s where I spend most of my time with my lot of friends. It’s always buzzing with energy and is the perfect place to just sit and talk. The campus has a very welcoming atmosphere, and since it’s so green and open, it just feels like a nice place to hang out. Even as a day scholar, I don't feel left out because there are so many clubs and random events happening all the time that keep us busy.
I’m a BBA 1st-year student, and I actually enjoy the classes. Since we don't have FFCS, we stay with the same group of people for all our subjects, which helped me make a big gang of friends really fast. The classes are held in modern buildings with great AC, which is a blessing in the heat. The faculty is super cool and positive. They don’t just read from books; they give us real-life examples and make the lectures interesting
Even though I’m not in BTech, the placement scene at VIT-AP is good for BBA too. The college starts teaching us about resumes and interviews very early. Knowing that we are part of the big VIT brand makes me feel very secure about getting a good job later on. It’s a 3-star experience because you get the brand name without the crazy crowd of the main campus.
The college organizes a lot of marathons and fests. Even if you aren't an athlete, joining the marathons with your friends is a lot of fun. It’s more about the experience and the photos!
Overall, life as a day scholar here is pretty sorted. If you have a good group of friends and decent teachers you’re going to have a great time.
