      Vivekanand Education Society's College of Arts, Science and Commerce (VESASC), Mumbai, has an illustrious past. Coincidentally, the institute was an esteemed autonomous, later offering a gamut of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in arts, science, and commerce disciplines. Admission into VESASC is awarded on merit, as it runs a systematic admission process for different courses. Typically, the admissions begin at the end of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or any equivalent examination results being declared. Now, the aggregate marks in the qualifying examination are taken into consideration as the basic criteria for admission into most programs. In addition, some specialized programs might entail some additional criterion or entrance tests. Hence, VESASC holds a NAAC accreditation, signifying it is above all for its continued pursuit of maintaining qualitative academic standards.

      Application Process

      The application process at VESASC varies according to program, generally following these steps, however:

      1. Visit the official site of VESASC and reach the section for admissions.

      2. Check eligibility criteria needed for the particular program. Most under-graduate courses have the requirement of passing the HSC or equivalent examination with a minimum percentage of marks.

      3. Download and fill out the application form for that particular program. All the details should be filled in correctly.

      4. Documents usually required include preparations of:

      • HSC or equivalent mark sheet
      • School leaving certificate
      • Caste certificate (if applicable)
      • Other relevant certificates as specified by the college

      5. Submit the application form along with the relevant documents to the college admission office before the mentioned deadline.

      6. Pay the application fee as set by the college.

      7. In case of entrance tests or further screening, appear for tests or interviews as notified by the college.

      8. Generally merit lists are published in the college notice board and website; check them to confirm admission status.

      9. If selected, finish all formalities for admission such as document verification and fee payment within the stipulated time.

      10. Attend the orientation program and begin an academic journey at VESASC.

      Degree wise Admission Process

      B.Com: Admission into the different B.Com programs, such as B.Com E-Commerce, B.Com Banking and Insurance, B.Com Accounting and Finance, B.Com Financial Markets, and regular B.Com, mainly depends on the aggregate marks obtained in the HSC examination. The normal B.Com program has a sanctioned intake of 360 seats.

      BA: The approved intake for the BA program offered at VESASC is 120. The admission process is carried out based on the performance of the candidates in the HSC exam.

      B.Sc: The college offers B.Sc courses under various specializations such as Information Technology, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Data Science, and Data Analytics. For example, in the B.Sc Computer Science program, the admission process takes into consideration the aggregate marks at HSC or equivalent, putting special emphasis on marks in the science group (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics), besides individual marks in Mathematics, Statistics, and Physics. The approved intake for the regular B.Sc program is 240 students.

      BMS: Aggregate marks in the higher secondary certificate examination comprise the admission criteria for the Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) course, which has an approved intake of 120.

      BA Mass Media Communication: This reality self-financed program is also available at VESASC, with an approved intake of 120 students.

      BBA: In BBA, VESASC offers an approved intake of 120 students.

      M.Com: The master of commerce program in accountancy and another in business management is provided in VESASC, each attracting an intake level of 60 students.

      M.Sc: M.Sc Microbiology, M.Sc Organic Chemistry, M.Sc Analytical Chemistry, and M.Sc Chemistry programs are available at the college. Of the total seats, the M.Sc Microbiology program has 20 students while M.Sc Chemistry has 20 seats.

      MA: The MA programs offered at VESASC include Public Relations and Psychology, with each attracting 60 students into their folds.

      Ph.D: The college has Ph.D programs in Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry, Microbiology, and Physics. Further admission to these programs might have additional screening procedures.

      Academics

      Academics in my college is generally rated good to very good by students. Being an autonomous college, it has flexibility to update it's syllabus and include practical, skill based learning along with traditional therapy.

      College Infra

      Classrooms are spacious, well -lit , and ventilated .most classrooms have LCD projectors , microphones , and internet facilities, making lectures more interactive and technology supported .The college also has media and language labs for specialized learning .

      Campus Life

      Campus Life in my college is lively and engaging . The college organizes cultural festivals, sports , competitions , academic events and club activities throughout the year .

      Placements

      Salary packages are usually considered average rather than exceptional , making higher studies or additional certifications important for better career growth .I feel that placement preparation and industry connections can vary between departments .

      College fees are affordable and worth the money .

      Academics

      The faculty is often appreciated for being qualified, supportive, and approachable. Professors guide us through lecture, assignment, presentation, projet work, seminar, workshops, research activities, and industrial exposure.

      College Infra

      The infrastructure is generally considered good and student friendly. The campus is spread over 4 acres and consist of two buildings with academic and recreational facilities. The library is strength part of infrastructure.

      Campus Life

      We enjoy opportunities to participate in activities and build communication and leadership skills. I enjoyed the environment.

      Placements

      Placement are average. While college has placement cell, placement opportunities are limited compare to top mumbai college. Company visits and recruitment drives may not be equally strong across, especially for traditional science and arts.

      Teaching staff is good but can change for department to department and the best thing about it is UpToDate but not up to industry level the staff is good at teaching what is required for exam is necessary ..

      good can be improve only the auto light are good but not working some time and only washroom is from 1 to 2 floor is usable in main building but all available in rest of the building also has lift but only for staff not student even if its 5 floor in main building

      not sure i already had job before collage. but for my branch i am not sure .its new and is unique it self but not sure were it will take us it be good job hopefully perfect job which make us happy and fulfill

      My cores cost 1,32,000.000 the infra provide to cores is good but... it can be mange's all the software with lab pc and which are good but not best like top of the line in pc components like good cpu and many more
