Vivekananda School of Journalism and Mass Communication, Delhi, synonymously called VSJMC, was started as a premier institution for making fine media professionals of the tomorrow age. BA Journalism and Mass Communication (BJMC) is a three-year undergraduation programme conducted by VSJMC. Admission to the BA JMC happens through the CET merit. Vacancies that remain after exhausting the CET merit list will be announced on CUET merit. The course has about 180 approved intakes; this large-size class will allow maximum interaction and learning.
VSJMC offers Bachelor in Journalism and Mass Communication II shift as well. Vivekananda School of Journalism and Mass Communication admissions pattern for this programme also happens like the BA JMC, whereas the major admissions happen based on CET merits, followed by CUET scores for remaining empty seats. There is an approved intake of 120 students for this programme, which gives an important second opportunity for the aspiring journalists and media professionals.
At postgraduate level, VSJMC offers a two-year MA programme in Mass Communication. Vivekananda School of Journalism and Mass Communication admission procedure for this course also depends on CET list, and if seats remain unoccupied, CUET is taken into consideration. The MA programme has 40 approved intakes, thus ensuring a more concentrated and specialised environment during postgraduate studies.
