What rank should an OMC aim for in MHCET in order to get either GLC or ILS?

Milind Sinha 14th Jun, 2019

Hello Siddharth,

GLC and ILS both being the best two colleges under the said exam, a rank within 250 should be aimed at under your category. The marks vs rank trend depends on the paper. That being said, a score of 120 would in any case be ideal to get into these both colleges.

Best of luck.

Their is a b.com llb in ILS ?

Shreya Singh Student Expert 4th Jun, 2019
Hello student,

No, ILS Pune offers 5 years BA LLB only. There is no course as B.Com LLB currently. You can either go for B.A. LLB or BBA LLB only, as 5- year integrated course. For doing law and B.Com both, you can first pursue B.Com as an undergraduate course and then go for LLB as a postgraduate course of 3 years.

Cheers!

Placements in rmnlu in kanpur and ILS Pune

Roma Kaur 31st May, 2019

Hello Aspirant

Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University has a very good reputation when it comes to law schools in India.

The students have given varied opinions regarding the placement facilities of the university. It is roughly estimated that if the class has 40 students then 25 of them are definitely placed. The recruiters include well known firms like Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, Wadia and Ghandy, Luthra and Luthra, AZB, Trilegal, Khaitan and Co. and it also includes corporate bigwigs like TCS, HDFC Bank, Wipro, ELP,etc. One of the best things about this university is that they have a strong inter ship program and student body. The internships provided are good with reasonable stipends and big names of the market.  The university also promotes many competitions. The international and national moots are sponsored by the college along with the accommodation and travelling charges.

When it comes to Indian Law Society Law College, Pune, the placements are not as impressive as RMNLU. Speaking honestly about the Corporate placements the data is quite depressing. Despite the college being one of the elite law colleges in India, the placement stats seems to be so not promising. The college placement cell has been working quite arduously towards achieving the goal of decent placement rates and no doubt they have been achieving the slabs quite heroically every year; but as of now this area still remains the risk zone.

Nonetheless, with good internships and good grades and excellent persuasive skills, you can get jobs even in places wherein the job market is a bit dull.

Best of luck!

What are the fees for the hostel? (Per year) for boy!

Madhurima Bhandari 29th May, 2019

Depends on the Hostel you are referring to and the type of hostel room you want to opt for since you want to know per boy.

The cost of the hostels in various cities varies according to the location and also according to the type of rooms single occupancy double occupancy etc.

For example: In Delhi, it costs 75k per annum for single occupancy

In government college, and colleges like Thapar and LNMIIT it is about 50k per semester.

In other private colleges it is around 1Lakh per semester

What could be the tentative cut off score for ILS law college in MH CET 2019 (for a Maharashtra state candidate, general category)?

Aditi Choubey 28th May, 2019
Hello
To get admission in ILS the assumption of expected score is some where around 124 and above. Because ILS is ranked 2 in MHCET and the cut off for it is high especially for the generally Category as no of seats are less for general category candidates.
This assumption is based on previous years cut off trends and for the rest we should wait till list are out.
I hope this helps you with your question and if you have any more questions please drop a comment below.
Thank you and best of luck.
