The college predictor name itself shows that it is just a predictive feature only getting the colleges which you can get this year on the basis of the previous year cut off but as everybody knows that the cutoff change every year they may fall or they may rise so the college predictor only suggest you the colleges on basis of the previous year cut off it is just a prediction you can't completely rely on them they are 99% reliable. But the data given in college predictor tools are completely reliable they are the actual cutoffs of the colleges. They predict you the colleges keeping in mind all the previous year cutoff trends in the colleges.

Yes you can trust it because all the data and predictions are verified and based on previous year cut offs. It might get wrong 1/10 time but since it is a predictor hence 90% efficiency is quite commendable I guess.
