There is no upper age limit or GAP criteria to get admission in Symbiosis Institute of Design. You must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent in any stream; or 10+3 diploma approved by State Board of Technical Education with minimum 50% and for candidates belonging to SC/ST category must have passed with 45%. An dyou must have aptitude and skill required for designing.

Yes they'll surely take on merit score if you pass their entrance exam. The 12th year gap won't matter. Symbiosis Insitute of design college has two exams - 1) the written part and 2) the studio test and sometimes personal interview round after it as well..

The Studio Test is actually taken to judge and check your problem solving skills which are obviously concerned to design and can be anything from making a simple model of your idea with basic materials to drawing your ideas.
