The only negative point is that it's situated in the Symbiosis Knowledge Village, Lavale which is a bit outside the city and connectivity is not so good during the late night.

I am currently doing my MBA in Symbiosis Institute of Telecom Management situated in Lavale campus, Pune. It's a very beautiful campus. Since the first day my MBA life, I don't recollect a time when I have been bored in the campus and the main reason behind this is the extracurricular activities that always been happening around here. There are 4-5 other colleges in the campus and there is a great interaction among students of different colleges and hence more learning. Students from across the nation are present because of which everybody gets to learn different cultures and traditions. Also most significant festivals across the nation are celebrated in the campus promoting unity in diversity. The college provides infrastructure like a library, gym, sports areas among others. To enhance the corporate exposure we regularly have guest lectures, courses handled by industry people. If we talk about the placements, college is doing good by getting new and interesting profiles along with a good pay. But the fee is actually very high and couldn't be afforded by everybody. Hence sometimes it seems that return on investment is little low. Hostels and internet facilities in our campus is never been the issue but mess food is actually pathetic.

Mini India in a beautiful campus

I will divide my review into parts. 1. Infrastructure is good. Classroom, lab, hall is big enough. 2. Placement was above average till date. Don't know about this year. We have group of students working hard for it. 3. We have regular guest lectures. So industry exposure is very good 4. Faculty is very friendly & knowledgeable. You will learn a lot from them inside & outside classroom. 5. College life is awesome. You have a mini India here; people from all over India. Good exposure. Huge & very beautiful campus with lush green all around. You will interact with people from many other symbiosis colleges too. 6. Hostel is good. It has 2,3 & 4 sharing rooms. They are spacious enough. New hostel is like a star hotel. The view from the hostel is gorgeous. 7. There is an event every week. So you will enjoy your life here. You can roam campus till 2 AM. 8. The food will take time getting used to. Overall the college is good.

SITM is a prestigious name in Telecom Space and I soon realized the same after joining the institute. Campus :- The sprawling campus of the SITM is spread on the Lavale Hill away from the hustle bustle of Pune City. It houses hostels for both boys and girls with modern facilities, such as a massive library, lecture halls, plush Green ground, basketball court, a well-equipped gymnasium etc. The campus is fully wi-fi enabled. Course and Faculty:- The syllabus is designed with meticulous care, taught by faculty having high degree of experience and expertise in the domain. The right mix of students from varied academic background helped me in learning outside the classes as well. Corporate Connections:- The strong alumni base helps the students to understand the technology by taking Guest Lectures, Industry sponsored projects and does provide industry insights that supports us to make rational career decisions. Placements :- Summer placements are, as you would expect, excellent. Almost one third of the batch got placed in the first round of summer placements itself.
