Mass of body 2: 27.3±0.327.3
The total mass is the sum of the individual masses:
mtotal =m1+m2m
mtotal=15.7+27.3=43.0kg
The error in m1 is ±0.2 kg
The error in m2 is ±0.3 kg
The total error is:
Δmtotal=Δm1+Δm2=0.2+0.3=0.5 kg
The total mass is:
mtotal=43.0 kgm
And the error in the total mass is:
Δmtotal=±0.5 kg
The total mass of the two bodies is:
43.0±0.5 kg
