what is Henry law statement with derivation
Hi Divya Dipti Sahu,
Henry's Law states that the solubility of a gas is directly proportional to the pressure applied to it.
X (moles of gas) is directly proportional to P (pressure applied to it).
When we will remove the sign to proportionality, the equation will become X=kP (where k is the henry's constant).
I am not aware of any such derivation .
